Louis Vuitton presents the Nautical Capsule, a collection with an elegant and decisive design, in which the classic elements of the Navy style are reinterpreted with a fresh and bold allure, proposing a sophisticated version of women’s clothing that evokes the spirit of travel.
The palette of the collection, which also includes leather goods, accessories and footwear, is centered on sophisticated tones of white and blue, combined with gold or red. The ready-to-wear is characterized by indispensable pieces of the women’s wardrobe, suitable for both the city and the Riviera, such as the blue double-breasted blazer, the white gabardine shorts, the blue silk taffeta parka, the two-tone sheath dress in technical jersey, to be mixed with new marine motifs such as the “Monogram Nautical”, a fun reinterpretation of nautical codes with the Louis Vuitton emblem, the striped print with anchors and laurel leaves, harmonized on the silk of fluid dresses and suits, the tweed stripes, intertwined with sequins and the signature of the season, the initials LV reinvented in rope, a contemporary interpretation of the sailor style.
Among the bags, red leather becomes a bold detail, whether it is the compact Coussin BB or the spacious Noé BB. The GO-14, an icon of the Maison at its tenth anniversary, is available in very soft red or navy leather and the characteristic metalassé motif stands out for the rope design inspired by the knots of the maritime tradition. With a nautical-style shoulder strap, the clutch version of the Twist West is perfect for any occasion. There is no shortage of “extraordinaire” creations such as the Capucines Mini, embellished with sequin embroidery with a striped pattern, and the sculpture bag in the shape of a lighthouse, a tribute to the creative flair and artisanal savoir faire of the Maison.
The Nautical looks are completed with bijou in perfect nautical style, inspired by the tops of sailing ships such as the delicate pointed earrings with Monogram flower and the Chain bracelet with the LV signature in golden metal. The silk accessories, essential for enhancing the most iconic looks, range from the iconic 90 scarves with the LV Cordage motif, in which the emblematic logo of the Maison is mixed with nautical codes, to the unmistakable Sailor Bandana bandeau, a bold combination of Monogram and Damier , crafted in four vibrant, complementary shades, including vermilion and sky blue.
