Guided by the spirit of Rudolf Nureyev, the collection celebrates the beauty of ballet; an opportunity for the artistic director to pay a wonderful tribute to his uncle, Colin Jones, a dancer who became a friend of the star, who he also photographed. Imbued with absolute elegance, the looks reinterpret the Dior archives with virtuosity: the tailoring reinvents itself with new volumes, slits, pleats and neckline, Monsieur Dior’s iconic bar jacket is formed into a masculine iteration, while tracksuits, shorts in wool with zip and ribbed second skin ts recalls Nureyev’s unique style.
