In collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, from 6 December to 6 January CHANEL lights up Piazza Cordusio with the Christmas tree signed N.5, creating a unique experience to experience the magic of the holidays.
An interactive journey aimed at discovering and celebrating the facets of the Maison’s iconic fragrance in an equally special space in Milan such as Piazza Cordusio. The tree, 8.5 meters tall, will be decorated with over 250 red and gold ornaments, two of the colors representative of the Maison as well as the Christmas spirit. The base of the tree evokes tradition, dozens and dozens of beautiful decorated parcels and trunks and the wonder of discovering them one by one. A tree that is not only to be admired but also to be experienced…
CHANEL has thought of a circular path that involves the senses: inside you will be enveloped by the scent of CHANEL N.5 and through an innovative and interactive filter you will be projected into the lunar space. Make-up is also the protagonist with the new collection to be discovered through a video tutorial. The itinerary ends with listening to engaging messages to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the CHANEL parties and a souvenir photo will be taken at the most suggestive point of the installation.
The experience can be booked on the CHANEL website through this link https://www.chanel.com/it/chanelexperience-milano/
The CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty Boutique in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II will also have a decoration dedicated to the holidays. Here it will be possible to discover the entire Holiday collection, the protagonist of Christmas 2022.
Having sustainability at heart, CHANEL will only use the tip of a fir tree for the tree, with the aim of avoiding the deterioration of the plant. CHANEL also undertakes to follow certified paths for the disposal of the tip of the tree, which will be recycled for further uses and transformed into compostable material. The lighting bodies are low-consumption LEDs and are made with recyclable material. The tree will be lit only after dark and with pre-established opening and closing times of the installation, for further savings in energy consumption.
