4 new designers to dive in the summer 2022

4 new green brands that will be sure to be protagonists of summer fashion in 2022

From Matteau’s black bikini tops to Savannah Morrow’s hand-dyed agave green dress … here are some of the cult pieces for summer 2022

Matteau founders and sisters Ilona Hamer and Peta Heinsen fit their swimwear on friends and family to be sure women of every shape feel beautiful wearing each piece. The clean and simple designs have earned places in the suitcases of Jeanne Damas and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Based in Rio, Haight is a swimwear brand that’s all about clean lines, unexpected shapes and block colors. These swimsuits and bikinis are perfect if you take a minimalist approach to vacation dressing, and come in a sophisticated color palette of rust, green and claret.

With a big focus on sustainability, LA-based Savannah Morrow creates light, airy clothing inspired by nature. The designer describes the collections as “simple, free flowing, and forever wearable.” Expect beautiful, earthy shades that are hand-dyed onto fabrics using zero-waste techniques.

Isa Boulder’s swimwear is handmade with an emphasis on keeping traditional Balinese craftsmanship alive. The label works exclusively with local artisans who use time-honored techniques and recycled fabrics to create the pieces, which are produced in small batches to minimize waste.
