Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d’Ampezzo, an iconic property in the heart of the Dolomites presents a series of summer music events along with a special summer package to celebrate their recent reopening after an extensive two-year $ 10 million renovation.
The five-star hotel invites guests to enjoy Cortina’s “living room”, leaving the ordinary behind to discover the hotel’s exceptional experiences.
The summer celebrations begin at 1224 Bar Lounge with the “DUET Cortina Sunset” series, a series of musical performances held every Saturday from July 24th to August 28th, together with a special show on Sunday, August 15th. Talented local musicians and singers will entertain guests including Jasmine Terrell, Sara Bradaschia, Steve Biondi and Josmil Neris, among others.
In August the Bösendorfer Lounge of the Grand Hotel Savoia also debuts, with charismatic musical events with the internationally renowned Italian classical pianist Roberto Prosseda and special guests stinking in light installations.
The Dolomia event space will also be transformed into a beautiful exhibition of Music & Design by the award-winning Milanese product designer Dodo Arslan during the dates from 13 to 23 August 2021.
“It is an honor to have such illustrious guests in our hotel, immersed in the magnificent Dolomites,” says Rosanna Conti, General Manager. “We always strive to offer our guests culturally rich and engaging events in a fun environment. We are proud to be Cortina’s “living room” and we can’t wait to continue these collaborations throughout the year ”.
The Grand Hotel Savoia has always been the epicenter of the iconic city’s cultural and artistic heritage, thanks to its extraordinary history that included distinguished guests, celebrities, statesmen and leaders such as Sophia Loren, Leo Tolstoy, Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt.
To further commemorate their reopening, the Grand Hotel Savoia offers a special summer stay package for guests who wish to indulge in the natural beauty of the Dolomites while also enjoying a gastronomic adventure. The Experience Gourmet package includes a free 3-course dinner (drinks not included) at the hotel’s Savoy restaurant, along with the best of Italian hospitality.
With breathtaking views of the Dolomites, the property’s 132 rooms, including 16 junior suites, 9 suites and the ultra-luxury Royal Suite Savoia have recently been completely renovated and remain a break in the alpine desert. The interior design, influenced by the beauty of the surrounding mountainous landscape, incorporates a variety of textures and materials, as well as light, earthy colors that reflect the splendor of this pristine high-altitude destination.
During their stay, guests can enjoy the hotel’s three unique culinary locations:
