For Spring-Summer 2021, the Barrie cashmere collection goes back to basics. A wardrobe of key pieces with a unisex feel and poetic designs bridges urban edge and light, natural elements through shapes, colours and 3D effects.
Augustin Dol-Maillot, Barrie’s artistic director, was inspired by the idea of a city dweller escaping back to their native countryside for a soothing summer of freedom…
The “denim” series features key must-haves: the denim jacket in both fitted and oversized versions, the boyfriend trouser, the new loose overshirt, all created in a patchwork of aged blues, also available as a matching bob sunhat. The luxurious knits created in Barrie’s Scottish manufacture bring their soft weight for a perfect finish, and also offer a new cotton/cashmere mix for summer freshness, worked as playful separates including ribbed shorts and sleeveless tops, flowing dresses and openwork cardigans.
