This new Alexander McQueen S/S 2021 menswear collection was designed during lockdown. It is made predominantly out of stock fabric: over-printed, over-dyed – renewed.
The Alexander McQueen S/S 2021 menswear collection includes 31 looks among single and double breasted tailored jacket, trench coat, parka, shirt in indigo dress print, bomber jacket, deconstructed wool intarsia cricket sweater, biker jacket, patched cashmere and wool intarsia jumper, spliced oversized cardigan, aviator jacke, spencer jacket, double-layered raincoat, vest in white cotton jersey and slim trousers, shirt in ivory silk poplin, slim trousers in ivory wool gabardine, trompe l’oeil full parka skirt
Look 31’s embroidery was inspired by drawings in the notebooks of the Alexander McQueen design studio teams.
Shoes, jewellery and bags enhance the collection.
SHOES
Boots with an exaggerated toe shape and a rubber sole. Sneakers in canvas, suede and leather.
JEWELLERY
Lucky charms including a magical hand with a skull and a seashell. Medallions engraved with a McQueen horse-shoe, a four-leaf clover and protective messages: peace, health, happiness, love, hope, faith and luck. Double-layered necklaces and multi-chain stacked bracelets and a molten chain choker with charms and baroque river pearls.
BAGS
The Metropolitan gym bag in selvedge logo canvas. The Dufe bag in grained leather with contrast colour raw edges and skull canvas jacquard trimmed with leather. The Harness bum bag in paint-stroke leather.
