Starting from a wardrobe that is constantly reinterpreted, Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of the Louis Vuitton women’s collections, brings the “Since 1854” collection, which for the first time showed for Autumn-Winter 2020, on the most representative models of Louis Vuitton shoes, with the iconic Monogram motif. The “Since 1854” archive collection is featured on the elegant SILHOUETTE ankle boot, on the PODIUM sandal, both recognizable by their flower heel, on the ARCHLIGHT sneaker (available for this winter also in a vintage, scratched version) and even on the derby BEAUBOURG. The Monogram canvas is instead present on the CHELSEA ankle boots, with a more masculine style.
Other important models are also pervaded by these aesthetic codes; the Desert Boot LAUREATE, with their platform sole, the METROPOLIS, in which military inspiration and the more playful aspect of the Monogram meet, and even the MATADOR ankle boots. With their large square heel and tapered toe, these geometric shaped ankle boots echo another great classic: the WESTERN ankle boot. This model is available in black or silver with a small golden chain and strap in two different Monogram tones, black and red or black and Monogram canvas.
The Autumn-Winter shoes collection 2020 is available in all Louis Vuitton stores.
