A new portrait of French “Nouvelle Vague” film director Jean Luc Godard, photographed by Hedi Slimane in Switzerland in July 2020.

This new photo series is anchored in Hedi’s work, documenting the great minds and artists of his era since more than 20 years.

This project is naturally in line with the “Portrait of a performer / artist” initiated by Hedi Slimane for CELINE in 2019, also connected with recent project MUBI where he selected the movie Pierrot Le Fou by Jean-Luc Godard (1965) in his curation.
