Chanel opens a second boutique at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport

A luxury prelude before take-off and the passport to a beautiful escapade into the world of CHANEL.

After a first boutique inaugurated in 2014, CHANEL has once again chosen the 2E Terminal at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and this time has taken up residence by Gate L.

Architect Peter Marino, a long-established partner of CHANEL, has imagined a 170 m2 boutique with a white marble façade that features two entrances, the first leading to the Ready-to-Wear and the second to the bags, shoes and other accessories. The three distinct spaces of the boutique give it an intimate and elegant atmosphere while providing a veritable immersion into the world of CHANEL.

The first is home to the bags, the small leather goods as well as Watches and Jewellery. The second is devoted to shoes and costume jewellery. A selection of eyewear is displayed in the centre of these two spaces. The grey stone floor covered with rugs responds to the pearlised white and moon gold of the walls and welcomes bar stools and poufs in tweed.

Black stone gives way to black parquet in the third and final space of the boutique, dedicated to the Ready-to-Wear. In a fitting room rendered from sycamore wood with gold finishes, clients can try on silhouettes from Virginie Viard’s collections, while the tweed armchairs and sofa are an invitation to sit down and enjoy the House runway shows, projected onto a screen.
