Fendi teams up with Nicki Minaj

The FENDI Prints On capsule collection will be available in 52 FENDI boutiques worldwide and on fendi.com starting from mid-October 2019.

In the new chapter of the FF Series, FENDI teams up with the acclaimed artist Nicki Minaj, creating an explosive, shrill drop for women, men and children: FENDI Prints On.
The rapper and pop singer, considered a fashion icon thanks to her bold and sparkling style, worked with Silvia Venturini Fendi and the design team to create a capsule collection deeply rooted in the ironic and playful DNA of FENDI. The futuristic and sci-fi inspiration meets the high-level glamor in the FENDI Prints On drop, where the iconic FF all-over logo combines with shiny metal surfaces and rich textures.
Combining silhouette over and close fitting, the winning design blends elegant garments made with precious craftsmanship with luxurious outfits for leisure. A waterfall is embroidered sequins on a dress in tulle, while a maxi parka nylon organza brings printed the reasons for the FF logo. Oversize down jackets and coats are reversible, a mink and sheepskin bomber jacket reveals knitted sleeves, a raincoat is embellished with leather sleeves, while the bodycon dresses are embellished with asymmetrical cut-outs. A silver suit celebrates hip-hop street culture, while T-shirts and sweatshirts show eye-catching graphics. Bodysuits, swimsuits and triangle bikinis complete the wardrobe, along with the boots snow shoes and the hidden wedge trainers inspired by the 1980s.

The same eccentric and streetstyle allure pervades the accessories of the collection.
The metallic silver – from the sequins to the raised FF logo – gives a futuristic look to the iconic Peekaboo and Baguette bags, to the new Kan U and to a versatile baby carrier. Even the legendary Baguette and a maxi tote acquire a fluorescent note in an unexpected shade. Shiny silver, fluo pink and high-performance materials characterize the FFrame sneaker, moonboot and pump range. To complete the look of wraparound sunglasses capsules FFreedom mask embellished with details and big hoop earrings shaped FF logo. The motifs of the FF logo and the fascinating portrait of Nicki Minaj also return to the FENDI Prints On Men’s line, which includes street and leisure basic garments, such as T-shirts, joggers, shirts, reversible down jackets and nylon windbreakers worked in a silver, deep pink and black palette, which are also used for sneakers and baby carriers.

Marrying the mini-me approach, one of the main trends in children’s clothing, FENDI translates the fun and bold spirit of the FENDI Prints On women’s and men’s collections into garments that are easy to wear for boys and girls. Metallic silver and attractive fuchsia accents, FF all-over logos and the iconic image of Nicky Minaj pervade the trendy wardrobe of T-shirts, hoodies, jumpsuits, feminine pleated skirts and anoraks made for FENDI’s little fans.

Reflecting the cool and disruptive spirit of the collection, special content shot by Steven Klein with Nicki Minaj starring announce the launch of fashion so drop. Turn poolside in Los Angeles, images and videos revolve around Nicki Minaj, with models surrounding her, indicating that they are part of the FENDI Prints On tribe.
