Coeur Battant is the celebration of that unique breath of vital energy, of the spark that motivates and makes it possible to live every moment with intensity. Coeur Battant pulsates in unison, like the beating of that heart that its name evokes. Made with exceptional raw materials, it enhances the grandeur of nature and joins the first nine fragrances of the collection: Rose des Vents, Turbulences, Dans La Peau, Attrapes-Rêves, Apogée, Contre Moi, Matière Noire, Mille Feux and Le Jour If Lève. Conceived and created in the creative atelier of Jacques Cavallier Belletrud in Grasse, a few steps from flowery fields, this majestic floral and woody fragrance occupies its own space in the emotional mapping of the Maison’s creations: inside the Coeur Battant beats the paradox of ” soft opulence “that lives between freshness and sensuality; there is even, if careful, the emotion of the primordial dawn.

A breath of floral energy

Anyone who has bit a delicious and juicy pear will recognize that thrill of voluptuousness that runs through the body. This is the reason why Jacques Cavallier Belletrud chose a fresh and crunchy pear note as a prologue to his perfume, which is elegantly prolonged by the seed of hawk and that leads it towards the horizon. Subsequently, suddenly, a magic molecule, the Cascalone, projects the pear into a cascade of freshness on the skin …

The Maître Parfumeur Jacques Cavallier Belletrud thrives when he molds materials according to his desires, playing with the constant contrast between darkness and light, freshness and sensuality. Coeur Battant pays tribute to Egyptian jasmine, the living soul of perfume, a sensual and radiant flower whose freshness he manages, miraculously, to preserve indefinitely. The moist note of jasmine becomes even richer with the introduction of narcissus, a wild flower with green and animal-like facets.

A chypré base of pure patchouli and musk elegantly illuminates the generous floral heart of the perfume, revealing other animal facets that are not necessarily offered at the first meeting.
