Louis Vuitton presents a new Silver Lockit bracelet designed by Sophie Turner on the occasion of the World Children’s Day, held on November 20 and marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989. November 20 is a day to celebrate children and mobilize people to help save their lives, fight for their rights and help them realize their dreams. Following the #MAKEAPROMISE campaign, Louis Vuitton, with the help of Sophie Turner, continues its efforts to raise awareness and funds for UNICEF in order to support the most vulnerable children in the world.
Sophie Turner, British actress and Friend of the House, was invited by Louis Vuitton to design a special Silver Lockit bracelet to support the LOUIS VUITTON partnership for UNICEF and to renew the promise to help children.

Inspired by his idea of luck, the bracelet was designed with red and white braided cords with a circular charm engraved with the shape of a rabbit, taken from the drawing of his most recent tattoo.
“UNICEF operates all over the world and Louis Vuitton is synonymous with travel. The bracelet, made with the intention of bringing people from all over the world, is a good luck for those who are destined for the funds. lucky color in China and white recalls the color of the pendant: a rabbit. The white rabbit and the rabbit’s foot are considered symbols of luck in many places in the world, “explains Sophie Turner.
By purchasing Sophie Turner’s Silver Lockit, customers have the opportunity to support UNICEF, contributing to a commitment to help children in vulnerable situations, such as in Cox Bazar refugee camps, Bangladesh. With the assistance of UNICEF, the Government of Bangladesh has been able to vaccinate 900,000 children and adults against cholera and save over 263,000 children from malnutrition.
Since the launch of Silver Lockit in 2016, the partnership has raised over five million dollars for UNICEF.
The Silver Lockit, inspired by the inviolable closure invented by Georges Vuitton in 1890 to keep the assets of its customers safe, is a symbol of protection and seals the promise to help children in distress. The bracelet made in collaboration with Sophie Turner is sold for 300 euros, 100 of which are donated to UNICEF. The launch of Sophie Turner’s Silver Lockit will be November 20, 2018 on louisvuitton.com and over 160 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide.
