Guggenheim International Gala benefit dinner become possible thanks to Dior

New York, NY. November 16, 2016 – Solomon R. Guggenheim museum’s young collector’s council hosted a pre-party for the 2016 Gunggenheim  International Gala, made possible by Dior. It’s the forth time it is represented by Dior. The event honors the works of art and celebrates together with artists Agnes Martin( in memory), Tauba Auerbach, Tacita Dean, Leslie Hewitt, Sarah Morris, Taryn Simon and Laurie Simmons, with a special muzical performance by Banks and Dj set by Nancy Whang. It proceeds from the Gig contribute to the Gunggenheim museum’s general operating fund, which advances a range of internationally acclaimed exhibitions and educational programs, supports stewardship of the Gunggenheim’s unparalleled collections of modern and contemporary works of art, and provides for the care of the museum’s landmark building.
