Versace celebrates the grand opening of Palazzo Versace Dubai

Dubai, November 16th 2016 – Versace celebrated it’s newest Palazzo Versace Hotel & Resort, in Dubai, with a grand opening event hosted by Donatella Versace and Versace CEO Jonathan Akeroyd. International supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Helena Christensen and Natasha Poly joined the party together with A-listers and influencers from the GGC countries. The new Palazzo Versace sits in the heart of the Dubai Cultural Village, and its architecture is reminiscent of a 16th century Italian palace, with subtle traces of Arabian influence. Versace Artistic Director, Donatella Versace has exclusively designed the furniture and interior for each of the 215 rooms, creating the ultimate lifestyle experience in Italian luxury. The five-star property features a world-class spa, an array of fine dining options, magnificent suites, spectacular pools and a children’s club. The Palazzo Versace Dubai is the second Versace resort property in the world; the first opened in 2000, and is located on the Gold Coast, Australia. On the occasion of the grand opening event, Versace has brought it’s couture collection to Dubai for the first time ever, straight from the runway in Paris. Versace will be taking private appointments throughout the week, so that the Emirates clientele may meet with the Versace Atelier team in person and review the collection. The esteemed couturiers from Milan will be on premise at Palazzo Versace for this exclusive occasion. Versace will donate a portion of the couture orders from this week to Dubai Cares, a philanthropic organization created by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, working to improve access to quality primary education for children in developing countries. La nuova Versace SPA, i numerosi ristoranti, le Imperial Suite, il kids club e la zona outdoor con piscine arricchiscono e completano l’offerta dell’Hotel a cinque stelle. Palazzo Versace Dubai è il secondo Hotel&Resort di Versace nel mondo dopo il primo, inaugurato nel 2000, in Gold Coast, Australia. Parte del ricavato degli ordini degli abiti Atelier verrà inoltre devoluto alla charity Dubai Cares, un’organizzazione filantropica creata da sua Altezza Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum per il sostentamento dei bambini dei paesi meno abbienti alle scuole primarie.
