Georgian designer Lado Bokuchava presents SS17 collection for Atelier Kikala. This collection will be shown on Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi, S/S 2017 The main idea for the collection Spring/Summer 2017 is gravity. This can be clearly seen in dresses where heavy constructions keep on transparent  straps. It creates the effect as if the dress is hanging in the air. In the collection you can see influence of Jesse Kanda and his images of victims of alien car crashes. From Kanda we get fluid silhouettes and this silhouettes inspired on asymmetrical construction, where one construction moves to another as well as the lines. Also inspiration of the collection is David Lynch’s “Lost Highway”, his dark glam aesthetics and dark interior chic. Accessories for collection were made in collaboration with Georgian accessories brand “Silhouette”.
