What if gloves were to become a hand jewel?
This is the beautiful idea of the House of Causse upon discovering the creations of Atelier Paulin. Together, the workshops created a collection of accessories designed in the pure spirit of craftsmanship so dear to them both.
The hand is of course the essence of the inspiration of the House of Causse leather glove cutters and sewers, combined with that of the jewelers from Atelier Paulin. First the hand, then the transmission, an obvious process illustrated by the know-how demonstrated in these creations, but also by the idea that gloves are items one keeps, items that are handed down from generation to generation, as objects filled with feelings and memories. And lastly, the hand is supported by the modern poetry that Atelier Paulin writes in golden thread.
These gloves are short and elegantly cleaved at the pulse of the wrist, bearing a word in gold reminiscent of an intimate bracelet with a fine lock. Some are also embroidered on the palm side, with a message full of optimism symbolized by the three words “destiny”, “love” and “luck” (“destin”, “amour”, “chance”), or individual words such as “life” and “spirit” (“vie”, “esprit”).
This collection where delicacy prevails will also offer to use customers’ own words when ordering at the Causse boutique or on the e-shop.
The collection will be available on the 1st of October on Causse’s and Atelier Paulin’s e-shop.
