Chanel Coco Chain Eyewear Collection 
The Chanel Coco Chain eyewear collection presents four new frames for sunglasses and three for opticals, the absolute must-haves of the season. On each pair the iconic metal chain interlaced with leather and its timeless yet rock chic allure is in the spotlight.
The chain – in gold, silver or ruthenium metal – comes in single or multiple rows on the temples of the sunglasses. The pilot frame is supported by a single row of links. On the cat eye and square frames, the chain embellishes the temples in two rows, increasing to three on a XXL frame. While the pilot form is swathed in leather, the other models are encircled with acetate and a metal insert highlighting the brows. The colour palette revises the classics: blue leans to violet, petrol and navy, brown adopts nuances of tobacco or tortoiseshell while pink is barely there. The range also includes the iconic black, white, burgundy and beige tones of the House. The lenses, matching the frames, play with mirrored or gradated effects.
Three designs make up the optical line. Available in the same hues and finishes as the sunglasses, they adopt square, rectangular as well as a pantos shape revisited for a preppy attitude.
All of the frames are punctuated with the ultimate detail: a discrete double C, placed on the chain, tone-on-tone. A truly feminine signature, timeless and universally chic.
The Chanel Coco Chain eyewear collection will be available in boutiques from September 2016.
La collezione di occhiali Chanel Coco Chain presenta quattro nuove montature da sole e tre da vista, veri e propri must della stagione. Ogni occhiale interpreta lo stile al contempo rock e intramontabile dell’iconica catena di metallo intrecciata in pelle.
Uno o più fili di catene in metallo dorato, argentato o brunito impreziosiscono le astine degli occhiali da sole. La montatura stile aviator presenta una singola catena, mentre le montature cat-eye e squadrate sono ornate con due fili di catene, che diventano tre per i modelli XXL. L’occhiale aviator è rivestito in pelle. Gli altri modelli sono realizzati in acetato, con un inserto in metallo che sottolinea le sopracciglia. La palette di colori rivisita i classici: il blu tende al viola, al petrolio o al navy, il marrone assume le sfumature del tabacco o tartaruga, mentre il rosa si intravede appena. La gamma comprende inoltre il nero, il bianco, il bordeaux e il beige, i colori iconici della Maison. Le lenti coordinate alle montature, giocano con l’effetto specchiato o sfumato.
La gamma da vista è composta da tre modelli. Declinati nelle stesse tinte e finiture delle versioni da sole, presentano forme squadrate o rettangolari, con l’aggiunta di una pantos rivisitata in stile preppy*.
Tutte le montature sono ornate da un dettaglio prezioso: una discreta doppia C tono su tono sulla catena. Una vera firma femminile e intramontabile dall’eleganza universale.
La collezione di occhiali Chanel Coco Chain sarà disponibile in boutique a partire da settembre 2016.
