Fendi 90’s birthday at Trevi Fountain 
L’occasione è di quelle che non si possono mancare, uno di quei compleanni che si vogliono festeggiare e per farlo Fendi ha creato una passerella in una delle più iconiche fontane del mondo: la fontana di Trevi a Roma.
Il 90°compleanno della Maison coincide anche con i 50 anni di lavoro in Fendi di Karl Lagerfeld (che però si dice non ami molto festeggiare i compleanni)che per l’occasione ha creato una collezione dal titolo “Legends and Fairytales”di Haute Fourrure che sembra uscita appunto dal mondo fatato delle fiabe ed infatti una delle fonti di ispirazione è un libro illustrato del 1914 dal titolo “East of the Sun and West of the Moon”.
Per rispettare la tradizione del “lancio della moneta” nella fontana, Fendi ha creato delle monete speciali che ogni ospite poteva usare per esprimere il desiderio di ritornare nella città eterna e vivere ancora una fiaba.
The occasion is one that can not be missed , one of those birthdays that you want to celebrate and to do that Fendi has created a walkway in one of the most iconic fountains in the world : the Trevi Fountain in Rome .
The 90th birthday of the Maison also coincides with the 50 years of work in Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld ( but they say he does not love much celebrating birthdays ) which for the occasion has created a collection entitled ” Legends and Fairytales “, an Haute Fourrure collection straight out precisely from the fairy world of fairy tales and in fact one of the sources of inspiration of Lagerfeld is a Fairytale’s picture book of 1914 titled “East of the Sun and West of the Moon ” .
To respect the tradition of the ” coin toss ” in the fountain , Fendi has created special coins that every guest could use to express a desire to return to the eternal city and live again in a fairy tale.
