Which was the first picture that someone took of you?

It was in the hospital on the Day of my birth haha and then 20 years later I got scouted by my agent Yannis Nikolaou on the streets in Hamburg june 2010, while i was shopping with my mum. He took the first model picture of me, I don’t really look like any of those two pictures takes back then nowadays.

What have you learned from working as a model?

I have learned to be strong and don’t be so emotional as i used to be. People underestimate that this is quite a though industry. I learned that jobs who didn’t work out don’t bring me down anymore, they put options on hundreds of girls and only one girl can get the job.

You have to be patient and always think positive, because people can see, when you are insecure or sad. It’s a lot psychology behind modelling.

What is the thing you like the most and the least about modeling?

Of course traveling, i like to explore new citys. I love that you always meet new people and you always have different jobs. No day is the same in a model career and I enjoy that a lot.

Where have you traveled with modeling? What has been your favorite city to visit?

My first model trip was New York City and its still my favorite city, I also went to Paris, Milan, London, Istanbul and right now I am in Los Angeles. Which is pretty close to NYC on my favourite cities list. But definitely the most interesting Country to see was India, I went there for an Editorial Job with German Elle Magazine.

The weirdest or funniest thing that happened on a set?

When I had a Shoot in South of France on the Mountains and i didn’t recognize there was a wild fox next to me. The Photographer kept shooting and nobody told me. I was sad, because they liked it for the picture and I was super worried, the fox could have had rabies.

Modeling is also about waiting…waiting for you make up, hair done…how do you spend your “waiting time”?

I often call my Parents during those times, or listen to Music. And make sure i always have a e-book on my IPad. Not to forget that snapchat and Instagram can keep you pretty busy as well during those times you wait :))

What a good agency do for you to make a good job on a set?

To tell the client my real Shoesize, that i don’t have to squeeze into a 7 for 8-10 hours. Also to  let them know that they can’t cut or color my hair.

What is your relationship with fashion? Do you have your own style, do you like to play with clothes and colors?

When i was a child my mum dressed me all the time and went shopping with me, because i didn’t care.

Now i like to have always new styles, your outfit is your representation to the client. Always remember to be unique and try to stand out with a cool and good style

Your relationship with social media, photos, “Instagram”..? You cannot live without it or sometimes you prefer to be “offline”?

I love social media, cause you can share photos with friends and share your travelling with so many people. Also I quite like to do funny snaps and have fun in my photos. Of course nowadays it is part of the business too 🙂

What are you excited about doing next? What is your next dream job?

Of course I would love to see a few more countries and just enjoy meeting so many new people. Victoria Secret would be a dream come true for me :)).
