Prada Real Fantasies SS 2016    

Per il Real Fantasies Primavera/Estate 2016 di Prada, AMO reinterpreta in chiave grafica l’Hangar Indefinito e lo rende teatro di un tramonto artificiale immobile all’interno di uno spazio vuoto tridimensionale.

Oggetti geometrici e mobili popolano l’hangar astratto, in cui i personaggi si muovono attraverso uno scenario neutro tra frammenti indefiniti e distillati di vita quotidiana. L’orizzonte e la scala di grandezza mutano continuamente, manipolando la composizione e disturbando la linearità delle sequenze. Un paesaggio artificiale dove la storia inventata entra in collisione con la collezione.

Prada e AMO collaborano sul Fantasy Lookbook fin dalla sfilata Primavera/Estate 2007, incorporando nella collezione immagini grafiche ed elementi visivi attraverso la tecnica del collage e forme disegnate a mano.

A partire dalla sfilata Primavera/Estate 2012, AMO ha trasformato il progetto in Real Fantasies, un corto con elementi grafici, introducendo nei lookbook musica e animazione. Il progetto vuole porre in evidenza, stagione dopo stagione, l’atteggiamento di Prada e i riferimenti concettuali della collezione.

For the 2016 Spring/Summer Prada Real Fantasies, AMO graphically reinterprets the Indefinite Hangar as a synthetic sunset fixed within a 3 dimensional blank space.

The abstract hangar is populated with geometric objects and furniture. Characters move through a neutral scene, moving between the undefined and distilled fragments of daily life. The horizon and scale constantly shifts, manipulating the frame and disrupting a linear sequence. An artificial landscape where fiction and collection collide.

Prada and AMO have been collaborating on the Fantasy Lookbook since the Spring/Summer 2007 show, merging the collection with graphic and visual imagery through collage and hand-drawn shapes.

Since the Spring/Summer 2012 show, AMO has turned the project into Real Fantasies, a graphic short movie, introducing animation and music to the lookbooks. The project highlights the attitude of Prada and the conceptual references of the collection, season after season.
