Cheap Monday Pre-Fall 2016: Bad Nerd    

Se non ci fossero i nerd non ci sarebbe progresso, creatività o innovazione nel mondo, ma questi sono anche spesso derisi. Questa collezione celebra il nostro nerd interiore, perchè siamo nerd e ne andiamo fieri.

La collezione è ispirata alla classica estetica nerd che include strane combinazioni di colori, insolite stampe e tipici vestiti di seconda mano. Il mood prende anche ispirazione dal mondo degli Scout, toppe e medaglie sono una forte presenza nella prosposta.

Le silhouette sono stropicciate con dettagli dalle forme geometriche e dalle cuciture a contrasto. La stampa optical è il filo conduttore della stagione così come l’arancione e il verde foglia di thè.

Per la donna, la collezione propone aperture circolari, cerniere, dettagli triangolari e abiti leggermente svasati.

Per l’uomo, le linee sono più strette e stropicciate con pezzi in maglia jacquard; i distintivi e le cuciture a contrasto sono gli altri dettagli chiave.

La proposta denim riflette perfettamente l’ispirazione Bad Nerd dall’aspetto trascurato e lo stile scout con medaglie di merito applicate. Tinto consumato e rattoppato, nei toni del blu e con rammendi e cuciture a vista.

I modelli cropped svasati Drift e Relic, così come l’omonimo giubbino in denim zippato rendono perfettamente il look stropicciato e sono due dei più importanti pezzi di stagione per la donna.

The classical nerds are known for their poor taste in clothes, ill fitting, itchy hand- me-downs, strange color combinations and a generally awkward aesthetic which reflects the fit and colours in pre fall 2016. we also looked at scouts for inspiration, but we made ours bad, this nerd doesn’t take any shit!

Shrunken silhouettes, patches, badges and contrast stitching feature alongside confident geometric shapes and specially placed sundries and detailing. This is a collection to behold!

In denim the season’s offer re ects Bad Nerd perfectly with shrunken looks and scout style merit patches adding a nice detailed touch. The denim is tinted, worn and mended with offset blue tones and repair embroideries in slightly off-colour threads.
