Qual è stata la prima foto che ti hanno scattato? Le tue impressioni dopo il primo photo shoot?

A dire la verità faccio la modella da quando ero piccola, così la prima foto che mi hanno scattato è stata quando avevo 8 anni. Ma in qualche modo sapevo che era qualcosa che volevo fare!

What have you learned from working as a model? Cosa hai imparato dal tuo lavoro?

A non lasciare che le critiche e i feedback negativi mi abbattano, mai mollare.

Qual è la modella che ti ha ispirato di più e fra le modelle di oggi quale ti piace e perchè?

Di sicuro Gisele, perchè è riuscita ad ottenere i più grandi traguardi in questo campo e perchè è una modella fantastica e una persona meravigliosa.

Qual è la cosa che ti piace di più e quella che ti piace di meno del fare la modella?

Quello che mi piace di più è che ho l’occasione di lavorare con professionisti che ho sempre ammirato, una fra tutti Pat McGrath…un mito!

Quello che mi piace di meno è dover stare molto tempo lontana dalla mia famiglia e anche tutta la competizione che c’è in questo mondo…è dura.

Dove hai viaggiato per lavoro? Qual è la tua città preferita?

Sono già stata a Tokyo, Barcellona, Londra, Milano e Parigi e la mia preferita di sicuro è Parigi.

La cosa più strana e divertente che ti è capitata su un set?

Un editoriale in cui ero circondata da serpenti e insetti.

Fare la modella è anche un lavoro pieno di tempi morti….aspettare per il make up…ai casting…come impieghi il tuo tempo in “attesa”?

Di solito mi metto a leggere, ascolto musica o parlo con le mie amiche nel backstage.

Che rapporto hai con la moda? Hai un tuo stile oppure ti piace sperimentare ogni volta un look diverso?

Amo la moda da sempre! Prima mi vestivo sempre di nero…un po’ rock ‘n’ roll…ora cerco di sperimentare di più con i colori.

Che ne pensi dei social network? Non ne puoi fare a meno oppure ogni tanto ti piace restare off-line?

Oggi giorno nell’industria della moda i social media sono un mezzo molto importante per diffondere e far vedere il proprio lavoro…li possiamo quasi considerare come un’estensione del lavoro stesso. Così è difficile essere off-line. Ma quando non lavoro spengo tutto.

Progetti per il futuro? Qual è il tuo prossimo lavoro dei sogni?

Ad essere sincera sto già vivendo il lavoro dei miei sogni…ho sfilato per Prada e MiuMiu. Non so ancora cosa verrà dopo e per ora cerco di concentrarmi solo a vivere il momento.

Which was the first picture that someone took of you? Your impression about the first picture, first photo shoot.

I actually have been modeling since I was kid. So I was 8 years old when I took my first picture as a model. I already knew it was something I wanted to do!

What have you learned from working as a model?

To never let the negative feedbacks bring you down and to try again, never give up.

What was the model that inspired you the most and among the models of today who you like the most and why?

Gisele for sure. Because she conquered everything and still she is very down on earth. She is a brilliant top model and a wonderful person.

What is the thing you like the most and the least about modeling?

What I like the most is that I have the chance to work with professionals that has always admired, like Pat Mcgrath for example, which is amazing!

And what I least like about modeling is to spend so much time without my family, and also the competition in the modeling world – it’s really harsh.

Where have you traveled with modeling? What has been your favorite city to visit?

I already have been to Tokyo, Bracelona, London, Milan, Paris. My favorite one so far is Paris.

The weirdest or funniest thing that happened on a set?

Shoothing with snakes and insects.

Modeling is also about waiting – waiting for you make up, hair done…. how do you spend your “waiting time” ?

I usually spend my waiting time reading, listening to music or talking to my friends in the backstage.

What is your relationship with fashion? Do you have your own style, do you like to play with clothes and colors?

I always have loved fashion!

Before I used to wear just black cloths more like rock n roll style, but now I’m trying to play a little bit more with colors.

Your relationship with social media, photos, “Instagram”..? You cannot live without it or sometimes you prefer to be “offline”?

Nowadays in the fashion industry, social media is a very important tool to show our work, it’s kind like a extension of our work. So it’s very difficult to be offline. But when I’m off duty I prefer to turn it all off.

What are you excited about doing next? What is your next dream job?

I’m already living my dream job, I just did Prada and MiuMiu show. So I dont know yet about what’s next, for now I’m focusing only in the moment.
