Juozas Statkevičius, il più grande designer lituano ha presentato la sua nuova collezione primavera/estate 2014 a Vilnius. Circa cinquemila persone si sono radunate per vedere la sfilata dell’anno.

Il Giappone è stato il tema principale della collezione, il designer si è ispirato alla cultura del sol levante e la palette della collezione partita dal colore bianco é gradualmente virata verso il beige e poi il marrone, il nero e il grigio fino a giungere all’arancione. Il culmine dello show è stato un abito di seta bianca indossato dalla bellissima top Edita Vilkevičiūtė. Quasi tutti i modelli avevano un piccolo particolare neon come i dettagli sulle borse o sulle scarpe e il mix di eleganza e stile androgino è un perfetto riflesso della tendenza del momento.

This year on 24th of November there was a big fashion show in Vilnius, Lithuania. The biggest designer from Lithuania presented his newest spring/summer 2014 collection. Around five thousand people gathered to see the fashion show of the year.

This year Japan was the theme of the runway. Designer was inspired with ambivalent culture of the ancient traditions and new technologies. Collection started with the color of white and gradually with beige, brown, black and grey he reached the orange. Nevertheless, the culmination of the show was an amazing white silk dress, worn by Edita Vilkevičiūtė. Nearly all the models had the little neon accent like the details on the bags, or even the shoes.

All in all, the show was like straight from Japan- at the beginning there was even a short martial show. The mix of the elegance and androgynous style was a perfect reflection of upcoming trend.
