Theory SS 2016 Campaign

Photographer David Sims returns for Theory’s Spring Summer 2016 women’s campaign. Two new faces, Andreea Diaconu (IMG) and Hana Jirickova (IMG), appear in the Theory campaign for the first time.

Sims captures Theory’s refreshed vision of the urban uniform this season in The New Suit, a dynamic remix of separates in lightweight wool, crisp cotton poplin, silk georgette and travel-friendly crepe.

A lively tension exists between menswear-inspired tailoring and feminine silhouettes to propose a more relaxed conception of workwear, reflected in Sims’ expressive use of light and shadow.
