Counterfeit “Come Get Some” Video

Counterfeit, il trio punk rock londinese il cui leader è Jamie Campbell Bower, il loro primo video è stato diretto da Rankin “Come Get Some” su Hunger TV.

Girato nello studio di Hunger “Come Get Some” è il primo video della band e offre ai fans un assaggio di quello che si possono aspettare quando il trio si esibirà con la loro musica in tour il prossimo mese, cominciando da Londra, alla O2 Academy Islington il 18 dicembre.

Discutendo il suo inizio con la precedente band The Darling Buds esclusivamente con Hunger TV Jamie Campbell Bower ha  detto, “Sono cresciuto un po ‘negli ultimi dodici mesi e io amo i Darling Buds e tengo a quello che abbiamo fatto, ma non sentivo che stavo presentando me stesso nel modo più autentico che potevo. “

“Passando attraverso i cambiamenti che ho fatto, mi sono reso conto che sono un po’ un giovane uomo arrabbiato e avevo bisogno di sfogarmi e far uscire tutto questo in modo catartico e reale così abbiamo buttato giù l’idea di cambiare stile al vecchio gruppo e cambiare il messaggio, e siamo giunti alla conclusione che abbiamo solo bisogno di iniziare di nuovo dal punto di partenza. “

“Questa è la cosa più personale che abbia mai messo fuori o che abbia mostrato a qualcuno. Tutta il nostro archivio è composto da can- zoni scritte con il cuore e con la nostra esperienza. Non ci sono ‘pugni tirati’ per noi. “ E nemmeno il video sferra ‘pugni’. Naturale, energico ed emotivamente forte la band – Jamie Campbell Bower, Tristan Marmont e Roland Johnson – sono stati ripresi suonando i loro strumenti in bianco e nero prima di essere catturati in una pioggia torrenziale, che non fa nulla per spegnere i loro spiriti.

They’ve been counting down to it all week and today Counterfeit, the London based punk rock trio fronted by Jamie Campbell Bower, premier their Rankin directed video for “Come Get Some” on Hunger TV.

“I grew up quite a bit in the past twelve months and I love The Darling Buds and still hold what we did very dear, but I didn’t feel like I was representing myself in the most genuine way that I could’” Jamie said of his departure from previous band, The Darling Buds.

“Going through the changes that I did, I came to realise that I’m a bit of an angry young man and I needed to vent that and get it out in a way that was cathartic and real so we threw around the idea of changing the style of the old band and changing the message, and came to the conclusion that we just needed to start again at square one.”

“This is the most personal thing I have ever put out or shown anyone. Our entire record consists of songs written from the heart and our own experience. There are no punches pulled for us.”
