The focus is on the links worlds of modernity and the Soviet Union, fresh ideas and retro style. Drawing inspiration from the history of USSR, Ria boldly uses the brightest associations about the life of the Soviet people, their attitude to sport and healthy lifestyle. The designer combines within a collection several cultural layers of the time, mixing the constructivist architecture and symbolic minimalist suits of the athletes.

Tamuna Ingorokva SS 2016

Spring/summer 2016 collection elegantly designed and imagined by Tamuna Ingorokva, with powder color shades and ultra-feminine touch of delicate pastel hues in pink, beige and neutral tones. Light-colored evening-wear and strong tailoring in pale colors, includes all kinds of pastel shades to look weightless, chic and sophisticated, to dictate the mood and matching luxe feel with power and feminity, strength and incredible grace. Litkovskaya SS 2016

Litkovskaya Spring-Summer 2016 is a study on recycling. The collection revolves around themes of Americana mens sartorial codes (cowboy shirts and jeans), womens ritual dressing and military uniforms. Clashing masculine and feminine, Lilia Litkovskaya reworks classic mens styles in delicate lace with specific rubber coating, stretch leather that looks like washed-out denim and reversible sequins.

Janashia Spring/Summer Collection is inspired by the style of Tilda Swinton’s character ‘Eve’ in the latest Jim Jarmusch film ‘Only Lovers Left Alive,’ while lingerie from the 30’s serves as details and other decorative elements.  Having a main stylistic orient on 30’s period, Janashia masterfully blends various geometric lines, shapes and patterns with the so-called ‘Tilda’ style and creates the perfect mixture of present reality minimalism infused with lots of interesting details.

I never know before, when and where I’ll create my collections, sometimes it’s long process to create my design as I had imagined. My 2016 Spring/summer collection is a very big challenge for me.  The idea for my new collection came while I was travelling to west countries.

BEssARION SS 2016

People cannot stay in different to a circus. For ones, it is about Vanity Fair, for others it is about art origin. The topic of circus was always appealing and I wanted to reflect my work…I still remember the first clown I saw at Nikulin’s circus during Soviet days. Imagine endless carnival of lights, burlesque of colors and party mood. Pajamas, striped shirts, asymmetric skirts, blouses and dresses covered with luxury and sparkles of gems. Combination of red, blue, black, grey from floating silk to bohemian velvet…
