L’attitudine al viaggio nel mediterraneo e il mood di un safari nel deserto hanno ispirato la collezione ss16 di Peter Pilotto. Intrecci di macrame e cotone sono manipolati per creare strutture senza peso che si scontrano con la costruzione lineare di un uniforme maschile.

La grande novità dell’anno è il lancio della collezione scarpe, dai tacchi medi alle flat, realizzate in Italia.

The utilitarian spirit of a desert safari and the Mediterranean attitude of a cotton smock shirt were Peter and Christopher’s starting point for this ss16 collection. Chemical macramé patches and smock cotton bands are manipulated as dense yet weightless structures highlighting the linear quality of crisp shirting and masculine uniform dressing.

The ethereal quality of ultra light feminine textures in light Chantilly and Macramé French laces are smocked, tiered, frilled and displaced to create an illusion of a layered mirage effect. Knitted intarsia all-in-one swimwear are a collaboration with Belgian brand pelican avenue.

Peter Pilotto are excited to announce their first ever shoe collection for Spring Summer 16. Peter Pilotto will be presenting a concise and comprehensive capsule of five styles in three different colour ways. Comprising of a high heel, a mid heel and a flat, the collection, which is made in Italy, is versatile and complete in its offering.

Inspired by the brands signature use of innovative techniques and statement colourings, the footwear complements and enhances the designer’s Womenswear collections.
