Il concept della collezione fall winter 2015 “Totalitarium” deriva dal culto tecnocratico. Palazzi che spaventano e monumenti che commuovono sono infestati dal solenne spirito dell’industrializzazione.

L’ideologia utopica glorifica l’immagine di una eroina della working class, dura e pura, fragile e integerrima.

Gli outfit hanno silhouette austere, texture tecniche e una palette che gioca sui neri e le sfumature di grigio. Pieghe geometriche e tagli si richiamano alle divise e uniformi dei regimi totalitari della prima metà del 20° secolo.

Elementi architettonici del costruttivismo e del classicismo totalitaristico.

I capi sono realizzati con il pesante cotone di vere uniformi da lavoro insieme a materiali tipici dell’era della moda funzionale come maglia di lana e feltro. Finiture speciali come orli a vivo e cuciture a vista, con aggiunta di tessuto elastici accentuano la natura dei design.

Ogni outfit esprime la contrapposizione fra la totale unificazione e uniformizzazione e una forte individualità, che è il paradosso che contraddistingue la moda post-moderna.

The concept of the Autumn / Winter 2015 collection, TOTALITARIUM, derives from the technocratic cult. Terrific palaces and awe-inspiring monuments of the époque are haunted with the solemn spirit of industrialisation.

The Utopian ideology glorifies an image of the working class heroine, so stern and so pure.

The outfits feature austere silhouettes, technical textures and greyscale palette. The geometrical pleats interpret propagandised by the totalitarian regimes of the 20th century’s first half.

Architectural elements of Constructivism and Totalitaristic Classicism.

The garments are made of authentic working uniform cottons as well as fabrics typical of the era’s functional fashion, such as woollen knit and felt. Special finishing, such as raw hems and exposed seam allowances, some piped with elastic, accentuates the technological nature of the designs.

Every outfit expresses juxtaposition between total unification and strong individuality, which is a distinguishing paradox of the post-modern fashion.
