Which was the first picture that someone took of you, the first model job you had, which were the first impression you had you saw it published?
My first impression was “wow, can I look like that?!” I had just turned 16 and never had my hair and makeup done before.
Which is the first rule you’ve learnt working as a model?
Never complain and be yourself. Nobody wants to work with a diva.
How do you reconcile your life (studies, friends..) with your work ?
I travel a lot so at times I miss my friends and family. But on the other hand I get the best out of it and spend even more time with them when I’m free. Also they come and visit me and we get to explore other cultures together.
What is your relationship with fashion? You have your own style, you like to play with clothes and fashion?
I love to be a tomboy one day and dressed to impress the next! In general I think less is more. I like basic outfits with more rock and roll details and accessorize
Your relationship with social, photos, instagram ..? You cannot live without it…or sometimes you prefer to be “off line”?
Well well! Can’t live with, can’t live without 😉 it’s a great opportunity to promote your work and slightly addictive once you get started. But I mostly enjoy it to share with friends and family and easily forget it for a few days.
What are your favorite hobbies ?
Horse riding. Swimming. Dancing. Must of all spending time with friends and family.
What’s the thing that people doesn’t know about working as a model?
How much more it takes then the right face and body.
The weirdest or funniest thing happened on a set?
I once did a job in LA where they staged a huge party for the shoot. And we convinced two strangers to dress up as policemen and pretend that they were arresting me. It was hilarious and everybody had so much fun!
What’s the thing you like the most about your job and what you don’t like?
The traveling is a passion of mine and I love it. But also the time spent away from loved once is the worst. So both the worst and the best!
Modeling is also about waiting, waiting for you make up….how do you spend your “waiting time”?
That is very true! I try to remember to bring a good book and music. But also Instagram is a dangerous time killer ;-).
