Rosetta Getty and Farfetch 4th of July Celebration

Rosetta Getty and Farfetch celebrated Fourth of July in the Tuscan Hills with a weekend party hosted with Fuschia Kate Sumner at Il Palagio, Sting and Trudie Styler’s countryside villa in the heart of Tuscany.

The celebration brought together friends and family including: Patricia Arquette, Rosamund Pike, Dree Hemingway, Hanneli Mustaparta, Tali Lennox, Gaia Weiss, Nausheen Shah, Phoebe Collings-James, Mia Moretti, Jack Guinness, Simon Taylor-Davis, Ian Jones, Anna Getty, Gail Getty, Erica Pelosini, Louis Leeman, Eric White, Balthazar Getty.

One Thousand and One Nights inspired the Fourth of July celebrations at Il Palagio. Saturday’s candlelit banquet was held under a centenary tree in the villa’s courtyard overlooking the surrounding vineyards. Guests dined on Indian cuisine starting with vegetable pakora, plain lassi and masala vegetable parata rolls. Dinner included lamb biryani, lemon rice butter chicken, dal fry, aloo gobi with raita and achar followed by carrot halwa and kerala mix fruit salad for dessert. The evening continued with DJ sets from Balthazar Getty, Mia Moretti and Simon Taylor-Davis, whilst fireworks made way for a spectacular backdrop.

Sunday saw guests coming together for a lunch party on the lake at Il Palagio. Guests of the weekend party gathered for a gourmet picnic which included panini’s filled with local delicacies such as cheese, hams & vegetables all grown on the estate. The lake was the ideal backdrop for the Sunday afternoon party which saw guests cooling off in the water following lunch.
