Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2015 Collection

La prima collezione pre-fall firmata da Nicolas Ghesquière per la maison. Quindici look forti che restano comunque aperti a molteplici interpretazioni e possibilità attraverso le sovrapposizioni di elementi complementari.

Un guardaroba creato per essere costruito, decostruito e ricombinato in funzione del tempo e il luogo. Un look è sempre il risultato di molti gesti liberi che riguardano le lunghezze…i motivi e le relazioni fra differenti texture.

È tutto nell’ascoltare i vestiti e capirne il tempo dei materiali: pelle, arricciatura con trapuntatura, tweed e maglia, velluto e pizzo, tela Monogram e twill di seta.

Gli accessori si prestano allo stesso spirito di composizione: i classici della casa interpretano un nuovo personaggio aggiungendo una firma. Gira tutto intorno a una questione di attitudine.

The first pre-fall collection by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Maison Louis Vuitton. Fifteen strong looks that nonetheless remain open to multiple interpretations and possibilities through the layering of complementary elements.

A wardrobe designed to be constructed, deconstructed or recombined in function of time and place. A precise look is always the result of many free gestures involving differences in scale, the arrangement of motifs, the confrontation of lengths and the relationship between textures.

It’s about listening to the clothes and understanding the tempo of their materials: dotted Swiss under leather, ruching with quilting, tweed and knit, velvet and lace, Monogram canvas and silk twill.

Accessories lend themselves to the same spirit of composition: house classics proudly take on a new character and add a signature. It’s about the fundamental question of attitude.

Quinze allures certaines, cependant ouvertes aux multiples propositions. Composer une silhouette harmonieuse, grâce à la superposition d’éléments hétérogènes.

C’est un vestiaire amovible qui se construit, se déconstruit ou se combine au fil de la journée et des heures. Une tenue précise est toujours le résultat de nombreux gestes libres : différences d’échelles, agencement des motifs, confrontations des longueurs ou rapports, entre les textures…

Il s’agit d’écouter le rythme du vêtement et comprendre le tempo des matières : plumetis sous cuir, rucher contre ouatine, tweed et maille, velours avec dentelles, toile Monogram et twill de soie…

Les accessoires participent à la même volonté de composition : classiques de la Maison, enorgueillis d’un nouveau caractère, paraphent la ligne. C’est la fondamentale question de l’attitude…
