Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi Diary 
È un’emozione speciale quella di vedere qualcosa per la prima volta e con questo stato d’animo che partiamo per assistere alla prima edizione della Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi, i bagagli sono pronti la batteria dell’iphone è carica così come siamo carichi noi pronti a raccontarvi la fashion week giorno dopo giorno. Siamo curiosi di vedere anche il festival ArtGeorgia e sapere chi vincerà la competizione internazionale BENEXT che quest’anno debutta durante la settimana della moda georgiana.
La lista delle sfilate in programma è ricchissima ci sarà spazio per tantissimi designer georgiani: Avtandili, Datuna Sulukashvili, Tamuna Ingorokva, Anuka Keburia, Atelier Kikala, Keti Chkhikvadze, Aka Nanitashvili, Gvantsa Janashia, THROAT, Nino Sepiashvili, Tengiz Sefiashvili, Teo Gardapkhadze, Simon Machabeli, Nino Babukhadia, Lako Bukia, Bessarion, Alexander Arutyunov and Tata Meparidze.
Ci sarà anche spazio per i più promettenti designer ucraini: Poustovit, Litkovskaya, Lake Studio, Przhonskaya, Anna October.

It’s a special feeling to see something for the first time and with this state of mind that we start to see the first edition of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Tbilisi , the bags are ready charging the battery of the iPhone is the way we are loads us ready to tell the fashion week , day after day . We are curious to see also the festival ArtGeorgia and know who will win the international competition BENEXT that debuted during this year ‘s Fashion Week Georgian .
The list of fashion shows is very long and there will be room for many Georgians designers: Avtandili, Datuna Sulukashvili, Tamuna Ingorokva, Anuka Keburia, Atelier Kikala, Keti Chkhikvadze, Aka Nanitashvili, Gvantsa Janashia, THROAT, Nino Sepiashvili, Tengiz Sefiashvili, Teo Gardapkhadze, Simon Machabeli, Nino Babukhadia, Lako Bukia, Bessarion, Alexander Arutyunov and Tata Meparidze.
There will be also a selection of Ukranians designers too: Poustovit, Litkovskaya, Lake Studio, Przhonskaya, Anna October.

DAY 1
– Ogni viaggio inizia nel momento in cui si lascia il luogo di partenza, il nostro viaggio inizia al tramonto sul mare siciliano che ci godiamo poco prima di imbarcarci sul nostro volo.
– Every journey begins when you leave your home, our journey begins looking at this beautiful sunset on the sea in Sicily that we enjoy just before we embark on our flight .
– Prima di “tuffarci”nella fashion week c’è tempo per ammirare le bellezze naturali di Tbilisi, siamo rimasti incantati da questa cascata, spettacolare e dal suono così magico.
– Before we “dive in” the fashion week atmosphere, there’s time to admire the natural beauty of Tbilisi , we were enchanted by this waterfall , spectacular and with a sound so magical .
– Appena arrivati, ecco una giornata di sole ad attenderci insieme al nostro pass.
– Upon arriving , here’s a sunny day waiting for us together with our pass .
– Non poteva esserci accoglienza migliore, un calice di ottimo vino georgiano e prima di tuffarci nell’atmosfera della serata di apertura, eccoci a esplorare il mondo di Expo Georgia dove ammirare da vicino gli abiti e gli accessori dei designer e parlare con loro delle loro creazioni (in primo piano i cappelli di Hellenium).
– There could be no better welcome than a cup of good Georgian wine and before we dive into the atmosphere of the opening night , here we explore the world of Expo Georgia where we can get a close up on clothes and accessories from the designers and we can have a little talk with them about their creations . (on the desk the pretty chic hats by Hellenium) 
– Ecco i divertenti e “succosi” sandali fatti a mano di #TikoNebieridze carichi di melograni e tralci di vite. La collezione è caratterizzata da un mood “naturale”…libellule, fiori e frutti.
– Here you are with the fun and ” juicy ” handmade sandals by Tiko Nebieridze with pomegranates and vines. The collection is characterized by a “nature ” mood … dragonflies , flowers and fruits .

DAY 2
– Eccoci al secondo giorno di fashion week, girando per Tbilisi abbiamo trovato un posto molto carino per la prima colazione, si chiama Cafè Le Toit ed è un perfetto misto di Francia meets Georgia ;-).
– And here we are on Day 2 of the fashion week, exploring Tbilisi we’ve found a really nice spot to have breakfast, its called Cafè Le Toit and it’s a mixture of Frenchiness meets Georgia ;-).
– Destra…poi sinistra…o era prima a sinistra e poi a destra? Comunque…le stradine sono le vie in cui puoi scovare qualcosa di interessante. Ci siamo innamorati di questa vecchia insegna e del murales dietro.
– Right…then left…or it was left and then turn on the right? Whatever…the narrow streets are the one that gives you more finds. We’re totally in love the old sign and the amazing art on the wall.
– Un giro turistico ogni tanto non fa male a nessuno, no? Così prima delle sfilate di oggi facciamo un po’ i turisti…Tbilisi è la perfetta combinazione di antico e moderno e contemporaneo e puoi trovare queste costruzioni e la strada seguente magari c’è un palazzo iper moderno…we <3 Tbilisi!
– A little sightseeing doesn’t ever hurt anyone right? So before today’s fashion shows start let’s do some tourist stuff right? Tbilisi is the perfect combination of ancient and modern and contemporary, you can find this and the next street there will be a new beautiful building…we <3 Tbilisi!
– Si lo quello che state pensando…siamo qui per la moda mica per fare i turisti…così eccoci di nuovo sulla strada giusta, se amate la moda dovete assolutamente fare un salto da Flabour per un Cardigan di Lalo: comodi, stilassi e coloratissimi!

– Atelier Kikala…segnatevi questo nome…stratificazioni+dettagli+texture+fiocchi …dobbiamo aggiungere altro? La moda è trovare la tura strada, prendere ispirazioni dal passato e trasformale in capi nuovi e rivoluzionari, ecco quello che fa Kikala, se sentite gli urlati a fine sfilata, ecco…c’eravamo anche noi!
– Atelier Kikala…take a note about it…layers+details+texture+ribbons…should i say more? Fashion is about finding your way, taking “old” things and turn them into new exciting stuff and that’s what Kikala does, do you hear the screaming in the background? We were the ones screaming the loudest!
– Uno sguardo nel backstage dove i make up artist non si fermano mai, ottimo lavoro ragazze!
– A little sneak-peek at that backstage where there make-up artists never stop…well done girls!
– In between the shows it’s the perfect time to visit Expo Georgia and find new things “to die for”, here’s the Sophogon Gliashvili accessories, the perfect combination of handcraft savoir faire and Georgians traditional motifs.
– Fra una sfilata e un’altra c’è il tempo di fare un salto ad Expo Georgia per trovare accessori e proposte interessanti, qui gli accessori e i gioielli di Sophogon Gliashvili, una combinazione in perfetto equilibrio fra manifattura e savoir faire e motivi tradizionali georgiani.

DAY 3
– Ah ah…verissimo, il giorno 3 dei Mercedes Fashion Days ha bisogno di una buona dose di caffè per iniziare!

– Questo giorno è dedicato anche all’International Fashion Design Contest BENEXT 15, ecco la collezione di Salome Pangani, l’ispirazione è basics meets art, belle le stampe e il cappotto “Dalì”.

DAY 4
– Se proprio devi fare una pausa per pranzo, beh meglio farla con stile no? Ecco il pranzo organizzato da NDUO Concept Store, grazie ancora per lo splendido pranzo e l’interessante chiaccherata.

DAY 5
– Affascinante location per pranzo, Gardenia…una serra piena di piante, fiori e alberi, luogo perfetto per esporre i gioielli di Gongliashvili.
– Super nice location for lunch, Gardenia…a winter garden full of plants and trees, perfect to show Sofia Gongliashvili’s jewels.

– Music break con queste compilation fichissima, grazie Przhonskaya, penseremo a te e ai tuoi abiti ogni volta che l’ascolteremo.

– Litkovskaya fall winter 2015-16: bellissima la camicia con le maniche super lunghe che si trasformano in cintura, non da meno la borsa con le frange in perle.

DAY 6
– È l’amore che muove il mondo…l’amore per l’arte e per la moda, l’amore per le nuove scoperte e abbiamo amato ogni minuto di questi Mercedes Fashion Days in Tbilisi e non vediamo l’ora di condividere con voi le nostre impressioni sull’ultima giornata.
– It’s all about love…love for fashion and art, love for new discovery…we loved every minutes of this Mercedes Fashion Days in Tbilisi and we love to share with you the last day of this event.
– Abbiamo visto molti interessanti designer georgiani, ma c’è stato anche molto spazio ai designer ucraini, ecco la collezione fall winter 2015 di Anna October: femminile con bellissimi dettagli e applicazioni.
– We’ve seen lots of new talented designers from Georgia but there was also space for Ukrainan designers, this is Anna October fall winter 2015: feminine with a twist, wonderful details.
