Jitrois FW 2015    

Jean Claude Jitrois fa un tributo alla risposta parigina al leggendario Studio 54, il “Palace” che era il locale più famoso fra la fine degli anni ’70 e l’inizio degli anni ’80 del secolo scorso. Intitolata “Lucid Wonderland” la collezione prende ispirazione dal mondo delle feste selvagge e delle serate al The Palace, popolate da chi con il loro carisma e i look perfetti giocava sulla linea sottile fra glamour e rock, punk e disco, mescolando stili e inventando tendenze.

Prendendo come muse Amanda Lear, Jerry Hall e Grace Jones; la collezione ha un mood 70’s con vestiti a trapezio e minigonne in velluto stretch e pelle con pattern floral ispirati alla Pop Art o ricami su pelle evidenziati da cristalli Swarovski. La silhouette tipica dei ’70 viene ulteriormente esplorata con tuniche indossate su pantaloni stretch di pelle, cappotti lunghissimi e tute.

Per questa stagione autunno inverno 2015, l’outerwear si trasforma in vestiti e viceversa, giacche e cappotti si portano con la cintura su hot pant sempre per giocare sulla confusione fra outer e innerwear. Le giacche sono strutturate ma morbide, sportive e corte, una nuova interpretazione della biker jacket “Rider Trois” è rossa e ha un collo in pelliccia.

L’innovazione nelle tecniche di lavorazione nei materiali è centrale nel lavoro di Jitrois, l’uso di neoprene e della pelle per i cappotti o i vestiti ne è un esempio. La tecnica “Minoray”, tipica della casa, vede l’uso di strisce di pelle ricamate su organza di seta.

La palette di colori va dai viola profondi, rossi, arancioni bruciati, marroni dal caramello all’espresso, verde, bianco e blu.

Per le stampe Monsieur Jitrois ha guardato sia alla Pop-Art che alla Op-Art, ispirato all’artista francese della Op-Art  Victor Vasarely e alle sue opera “zebra”, Jean Claude ha creato pattern astratti animalier che si arrampicano sul corpo di chi indossa i capi. Un altro tema per le stampe sono grandi fiori ricamati su suede stretch per un effetto grafico molto delicato. Jean Claude mescola la tradizionale tecnica di ricamo di Dentelles con griglie e triangoli con impunture a contrasto.

Jitrois Collection Autumn-Winter 2015-16. Lundi 9 mars 2015

For Autumn/Winter 2015, Jean Claude Jitrois pays tribute to Paris’ answer to the legendary Studio 54, Palace, in it’s heyday during the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. Entitled “Lucid Wonderland” the collection takes inspiration from the intoxicating world of the wild party girls who frequented The Palace; who, with their relentless charisma and impeccable looks, blurred the line between effortless glamour and the rock, punk and disco movements of the era.

Looking to muses such as Amanda Lear, Jerry Hall and Grace Jones; the collection features 1970’s inspired trapeze cut dresses and mini skirts constructed in stretch velvet and lambskin and brought to life with Pop Art inspired floral or animal leather embroidery and accented with Swarovski crystals. The 1970’s silhouette is explored further through tunics worn over flared stretch leather pants, floor length coats and signature catsuits with ultra plunging necklines.

Shirting plays a central role in the collection and is presented in a variety of forms, from embellished silk pussy bow shirts and dresses to stretch leather shirts and suede shirt dresses.

Outerwear this season is transformed into dresses and vice versa – jackets and coats are belted and paired with hot pants to further blur the line between outer and innerwear. Jackets are structured yet soft, sporty and cropped and a reinvented biker jacket – the ‘Rider Trois’ – is presented in red and features a fox fur collar.

Central to the House of Jitrois; innovation is more than ever at the forefront of the creative process for AW15, with bonded neoprene and leather coats and lamb velvet textured dresses key to the collection. The Minoray technique – a signature Jitrois process – sees leather strips embroidered on silk organza that move with the body and play with the senses.

The colour palette for is made up of deep purples, blood reds, burnt oranges, caramel and espresso browns, contrasted with forest greens, crisp whites and frosted blues in stretch lambskin and suede. Graphical python is featured in a mix of blues, purples and black and furs include golden fox, black mink and natural chinchilla.

For prints, Monsieur Jitrois looked both to Pop-Art and Op-Art to inspire bold but feminine pieces with a body-conscious emphasis on movement. Inspired by French Op-Artist Victor Vasarely’s ‘zebra’ pieces, Jean Claude set out to create a bespoke abstract animal print made up of bold, jagged shapes that snake around the wearer’s body. A second key print features bold, poppy flowers embroidered in stretch suede to create graphic yet soft pieces. Jean Claude mixes the traditional embroideries of Dentelles with graphic futuristic grids and triangles while contrast hand stitching features as detailing to raw cut garments for an artisanal approach.

This winter the Jitrois woman is fearless and bold with a delightfully cheeky glint in her eye – epitomising subtle Parisian elegance, ease and sensuality.

Collection Jitrois Automne-Hiver 2015-16

Fin des années 70, début des années 80, époque charnière. La fête bat son plein au rythme du Disco au Palace, club du faubourg Montmartre, alter égo parisien du mythique Studio 54. Jean Claude Jitrois arrive à Paris pour y établir sa Maison à Paris. Souvenir de ces nuits d’ivresse et de ces femmes, au charisme implacable et aux looks impeccables. Amanda Lear, Jerry Hall, Grace Jones…

Jean Claude Jitrois rend hommage à ces années acidulées ouvertes à tous les possibles et les réinvente dans cette collection « Lucid Wonderland » Automne-Hiver 2015/16.

Ainsi les robes et mini-jupes trapèzes à la coupe 70’s en agneau velours stretch s’animent de broderies cuir florales ou animales aux influences Pop Art, subtilement rehaussées de cristaux Swarovski. Les tuniques se portent sur des pantalons flare en cuir stretch. Les manteaux longs jusqu’aux pieds et fendus jusqu’aux hanches couvrent une silhouette lovée dans une combinaison cuir stretch jambes évasées au décolleté V ultra plongeant. Jeu de vestiaire, les robes-chemises en agneau velours stretch intègrent un gilet de renard et les manteaux en cuir stretch ou en mouton lainé sont à l’inverse ajourés et assemblés d’empiècements en broderie jour échelle.

Du Pop Art à l’Optical art, Jitrois s’inspire également de Victor Vasarely. Ses fondements esthétiques, son travail sur la ligne, sur les effets de matière et les jeux de perspectives sont autant de points communs, points de fuite et point de rencontre avec Jitrois, ici transposés sur des vestes structurées où le cuir se mue en sculpture, et des blouses évanescentes aux formes sinueuses qui suggèrent le corps pour mieux sublimer la silhouette féminine. La technique Minoray, innovation Jitrois, dont les bandes de cuir brodées sur l’organza de soie ondulent pour jouer avec les sens, est appliquée sur des robes trapèzes et vestes zippées.

Chère à la Maison, l’innovation reste plus que jamais implantée au centre de la démarche créative Jitrois, avec des manteaux ceinturés au cuir grainé contrecollé néoprène mais aussi avec des robes en agneau velours texturés.

Les couleurs Jitrois cet hiver jouent sur les oppositions entre couleurs froides tels des rouges pourpres, marrons expresso, vert forêt et bleus givrés, et des tons pop acidulés, orange, blanc immaculé et anémone.

Cet Hiver donc, intrépide, audacieuse et parfois délicieusement effrontée, la femme Jitrois mixe avec aisance et subtilité élégance parisienne, sensualité inhérente au cuir sur un fond à la fois disco et punk/rock propre à la fin des 70’s. Une féminité exacerbée qui mixe les allures et oublie les règles établies pour mieux se réinventer. Dont acte. Dans le bonheur.
