Julien David FW 2015
Ad ispirare la collezione FW 2015 di Julien David è sicuramente la sua ultima visita alla Helmut Newton Foundation di Berlino. Alcuni elementi sono presi in prestito dalle divise militari e dal mondo equestre e della caccia. L’effetto camouflage è stato rielaborato delineando i contorni tradizionali con un effetto ricamo su stampe digitali e su sete . L’obiettivo era quello di trovare un’armonia tra grandezza regale e cultura giovanile ribelle.

The starting point came from a visit to the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin. Some elements are borrowed from the strictness of military costumes, the equestrian world and hunting attire.
The camouflage pattern is reworked by outlining the traditional contours in cording embroidered on to quilted napped cottons and digital prints on silks.
The aim was to find a harmony between regal grandeur and rebellious youth culture.
