“Days of Future Passed”

La collezione parla di un luogo fra un passato che non si riesce a ricordare e un futuro che non si riesce a immaginare. Rappresenta il contrasto e lo straniamento fra qualcosa che sembra inconsueto e fuori posto ma allo stesso tempo familiare e conosciuto.

Le silhouette sono ispirate dal concetto di viaggio nel tempo.

Un collage di qualcosa che al contempo è futuristico e meccanico, forme industriali datate e qualcosa che emerge da un passato sconosciuto che non è mai accaduto.

Questa sensazione, sentimento è evocato dall’uso di una reinterpretazione dei tradizionali metodi di manifattura: ricamo, patchwork, illustrazioni dipinte sfocate, pattern acquarello e spesse pennellate di colore.

Pelle, cashmere, seta dipinta a mano e mink fur mescolati in modo contrapposto e insolito, un look a metà fra ladylike e tomboy, sovrapposizioni e rilassatezza.

Days of Future Passed AW15-16

The collection is about a place between an unmemorable past and an unimaginable future.

It embodies the contrasts between something other worldly and misplaced but at the same time familiar and well known.

The silhouettes are inspired by the existence of time traveling.

A Collage of futuristic and mechanical, but somehow useless and outdated industrial shapes and something from an unknown and non-existing past.

This feeling is evoked by the use of a reinterpretation of traditional handy craft methods. Hand weaving, patchwork pleating, embroidery, blurred hand painted illustrations, water colour patterns and thick brush strokes.

Leather, cashmere, hand painted silk and mink fur mixed in uncanny juxtapositions, combining ladylike
and tomboyish, effortlessness and over dressed.
