L’iniezione della vita

La storia dell’umanità è da sempre segnata da guerre, crisi e sofferenza. Gli ultimi cento anni ne sono un vivido esempio. Il mondo moderno funziona in modo semplice: le persone sono costrette ad adattarsi e a lottare per il diritto di essere felici. Sarebbe utile per tutti acquisire nuove forze per combattere questa battaglia – una specie di iniezione che sale su per le vene e riempie i muscoli di una nuova energia, riscalda il corpo e la mente – e la conseguente abilità di poter godere del presente, non solo di sogni futuri.

Questa iniezione di vita è rappresentata qui grazie ad un equilibrio perfetto di materie morbide, cardine della nuova collezione autunno/inverno di Fatima Val: flanella, lana delicata, maglieria soffice, pellicce che riscaldano il corpo e l’anima. La ricerca di nuove forme ha condotto la designer alla scoperta dell’immagine di una donna forte: dettagli inaspettati, silhouette laconiche, che giocano con i drappi di tessuto e le loro infinite trasformazioni.

Il principale connubio cromatico è il bianco & nero tanto caro alla designer. La loro unione è interrotta solo da qualche goccia di rosso sangue e color ruggine. Attendere la fine di questa eterna lotta è inutile: la moderna donna di Fatima Val vive al di sopra delle circostanze, cammina a testa alta nonostante tutto.

The injection of life

The history of humankind is a history of wars, crises and suffering. The last hundred years serve a vivid example of that. The modern world is functioning in a simple way: a person is forced to adapt, to endure and fight for the right to be happy. And it may be useful for anyone to gain additional forces in this struggle – a kind of injection, which will speed up the blood in the veins, fill the muscles with new energy, give the body some warmth, and to the mind – the unique ability to enjoy not illusive dreams of the future, but the present moment.

This life-giving injection is performed in the perfect balance of soft textiles in Fatima Val’s new fall-winter collection: flannel, delicate wool, soft knits, fur that vary in texture warming body and soul. The search for new forms led the designer to discover a brand new image of a strong and independent woman: unexpected details, laconic silhouettes, playing with fabric drapes and almost endless possibilities of transforming each item.

The main color motif is the duo of black and white so appreciated by the designer. Their strict union is only diluted by a drop of blood red and shades of dusty brown. Waiting for the end of this eternal fight is useless: a modern Fatima Val woman stays above circumstances: while remaining true to herself, she goes straight ahead with her head held high no matter what.
