Max.Tan FW 2015    

XY è il nome di questa collezion, XY non è conformarsi ma un fluido scorrere fra due opposti. Max.Tan per l’autunno inverno 2015-16 è un concetto e non semplicemente una donna che indossa un guardaroba maschile o uomini che fanno il contrario, è una collezione che ricostruisce e reinventa il guardaroba del fidanzato e lo annullando il concetto di genere.

Una nuova idea per le patte delle tasche quadrate nelle giacche maschili, una tunica con pieghe asimmetriche e gonne che incorporano elementi origami. Drappeggi geometrici e silhouette che si smontano e si ricostruiscono, elementi sartoriali maschili si ritrovano nei dettagli del retro dei vestiti e delle gonne.

XY is not a conformation, but a seamless flow between opposites. MAX.TAN’s Fall/Winter 2015-16 collection presents a concept not just simply of women in menswear, or men in frocks; it is a collection that reconstructs her boyfriend’s wardrobe, a state of gender neutralizing.

The interpretation of the folds of pocket squares in men’s jackets, a tunic featuring asymmetrical folds and skirts incorporating origami elements. Geometrical draping and robe dressing form a collapsing silhouette for the collection, spliced-tailoring on centre-back and sides on traditionally mascoline fabrication of will and felt, e.g. floating handkerchief cuts combined with strict shirts.
