Edward Achour Paris SS 2015

Per la nuova collezione un gusto “sixties” e un mondo fatto di colori pastello e tessuti vintage. La collezione completa presenta 40 diversi look (qui una selezione) che si muovono intorno a 3 pezzi chiave: il cappotto, la giacca e il vestito.

I vestiti ricoprono un ruolo centrale con 3 diversi design. Il “Girly” A-line che è sempre presente nelle collezioni di Edward e un vestito con la vita stretta e taglio svasato, completato con un sottogonna, una striscia di tweed e bottoni-perla.

Il vestito classico è fluido, con volant di georgette, cintura in seta e collo bianco “claudine”.

A completare il trio, il vestito “mille foglie” in nero o rosa pastello, progettato con l’abilità e la cura che ti aspetteresti dai più grandi brand, sempre  in georgette.

Le giacche sono fatte in tweed pastello, sfoderato per l’estate e da indossare indifferentemente di giorno o la sera…in rosa e bianco e tocchi di nero. Ci sono anche a scacchi navy blue, tweed bianco, nude e verde smeraldo chiaro, in rosa orchidea e tweed di seta.

Per questa stagione Edward propone due gonne molto femminili che si sposano perfettamente alle giacche. La gonna a trapezio al ginocchio, in tantissimi colori e texture: tweed ricamato in bianco e nero o seta in toni pastello. La gonna a campana è caratterizzata da un fiocco in vita, con sottogonna in tulle a dare una silhouette tondeggiante.

La vita è stretta e il corpo del visto è in seta a plissè orizzontali, lo schema dei colori varia da toni rosati, nero, navy, rosa cipria e rosa acceso, giallo pallido, verde smeraldo e nude.

Le bluse accompagnano elegantemente le gonne con la stessa palette di colori, i top hanno un sottile fiocco nero con un bocciolo di rosa al centro.

Anche in questa collezione ritroviamo l’emblematico gardenia del brand, così cari al designer. In questa stagione i fiori sono in pizzo e white faille, sono accompagnati da catene e sono disponibili in due misure in resina e plexiglas. La gardenia in resina è anche in versione con catena dorata. Le collane sono anch’esse in plexiglas e sono decorate con finte perle.

Summer 2015 will be in strong pastel colours and vintage trimmed fabrics, a hint of the “sixties” for Edward Achour Paris. The collection presents forty different looks built around three centrepieces: the coat, the jacket, and the dress.

Dresses have pride of place for this summer with three leading designs. The “Girly” A-line dress which is ever present in the Edward’s collections, and a narrow at the waist dress with a flared cut towards the bottom. It is complemented with an underskirt, a strip of tweed and pearl buttons.

The classic dress is fluid; designed in georgette ruffle, with a coarse grain silk belt and white claudine collar.

Lastly comes the mille feuille dress in black or pastel pink, designed with the skill you would expect from the greatest dressmakers. It is cut from georgette ruffle and ingeniously matches the jackets in the collection.

The delicate jackets are made from light pastel-coloured tweed, unlined for the summer and may be worn at any time of day or night…they come in baby pink and white mixed with black. They also come in checked navy blue, and white tweed, in nude matched with pale green emerald, and in orchid pink cotton and silk tweed which marries particularly well with the cream lace vintage trim.

This season Edward proposes two particularly feminine skirts which cleverly complement the jackets: the trapeze- shaped A-line skirt stops at the knee. It offers a profusion of different shades and textures: with black and white for the embroidered tweed, pastel tones for the silks. The bell-shaped skirt is ornamented with a bow at the waist. It is lined with a tulle underskirt which gives its rounded silhouette. The waist is tightly nipped and the body of the dress is in silk with horizontal pleats. The colour scheme is varied with blush tones, black, navy blue, powder pink, bright pink, pale yellow, emerald green, and nude.

The blouses gracefully complement the A and bell-shaped skirts with the same range of colours.

The tops bear a slender black ribbon adorned with a rosebud in the centre of the bow.

We find here again the brand’s emblematic gardenia which is dear to the designer’s heart. This season the flower comes in lace and white faille. It is accompanied by chains and comes in two available sizes in resin and Plexiglas. This season, the gardenia in resin also comes with a golden chain. The necklaces are made of plexiglas and are ornamented with imitation pearls.
