Uno smartphone può essere un comodissimo sostituto del classico specchietto da borsetta, con il plus di essere anche pronto a catturare la giusta espressione se trucco e parrucco sono ok, vi dice niente la parola selfie? Se poi tutto questo viene fotografato da Mr Sartorialist beh allora è tutta un altra storia.

Se poi proprio mentre ti stai facendo un selfie ti accorgi di quelle nemiche giurate di ognuna di noi…le occhiaie, ecco un simpatico suggerimento da poter mettere in pratica, certo serve un po’ di tempo ma il risultato è favoloso.

Se poi ti capita di avere la faccia si Sasha Luss, tutto è indubbiamente più semplice (almeno per quanto riguarda i selfie): pelle perfetta, make-up del dopo sfilata Chanel, bocca…vabbè lasciamo perdere va :-(. Ha pure un braccio lungo per poter inquadrare meglio, maledetta ;-).

L’abbiamo ammirata sfilare per Jean Paul Gaultier ma non abbiamo avuto ancora l’occasione di vederla in veste di attrice nella serie “Empire” (su Fox) dove interpreta il personaggio di Camilla.
We’ve seen her walking the runaway for Jean Paul Gaultier for Haute Couture in Paris but we still haven’t had the chance to what her acting in the “Empire” serie (on Fox) where she plays Camilla.
Coco è incinta e oggi ci racconta tramite un collage di immagini tutte le mise che hanno “vestito” il suo pancino in questi mesi, basta un tap per sapere i nomi dei brand dei vari look. Spiritosamente tagga la foto con #studyofbump (#studiosullapancia) facendo il verso al suo libro “Study of Pose”.

Non ci siamo mica dimenticati che c’era l’Haute Couture a Parigi…ecco un esempio di come uno smartphone e un buon posto ad una sfilata (insieme ad un buon occhio per l’inquadratura) possa dare davvero un’ottima copertura di una collezione. Ecco Sofia Sanchez che ci regala un super slo-mo di un vestito della collezione Haute Couture di Valentino…pura magia.
Wait wait…we didn’t forget it was Haute Couture Week in Paris, how could we! Here’s a perfect example on how with a smartphone and a good defilé’s seat (together with a good eye for framing) you could share a nice point of view on a collection. Per affrontare al meglio una Fashion Week ci vuole energia e ognuno ha i suoi metodi e la sua dieta. Carine ci ricorda che FW non vuole dire mica Diet Week e quindi elegantemente (come Mademoiselle C sa fare) gusta un po’ di frites.
You need a good dose of stamina and energy to face a Fashion Week and everyone has his own diet. Carine tells us that FW doesn’t mean Diet Week and gracefully (she’s Mademoiselle C right?) pick some frites.
Derek “trottola” Blasberg ci ricorda che in Francia se volete un “french toast” potete tranquillamente chiedere un “french toast” (anche se a dire il vero i francesi dovrebbero chiamarlo “Pain Perdu” riferendosi all’origine della ricetta che serviva a riutilizzare il pane raffermo) ovviamente da un king of style non possiamo certo aspettarci il freddo tavolo di un bistrot di periferia ma un servizio di piatti in finissima porcellana bordato in oro.
Derek “never stops” Blasberg remember us that if you wanna get a “French Toast” in France you can just ask for a “French Toast” (the story of this recipe tells that in France its also called “Pain Perdu”>”Left-over bread”, the french name refers to the origin of this dish which was invented to re-use leftover bread), ok a french toast but in style as we should expect from Derek: a super refined porcelain with gold details.
Francamente non sappiamo cosa ci faccia un ananas a galleggiare in queste acque tropicali e avendo perso la sim del cellulare non possiamo neanche telefonare a Poppy Delevingne per chiederglielo, ma la foto ci piaceva e in questo freddo inverno ci faceva pensare all’estate.
To be honest we’ve no clue why there’s a Pineapple floating in these transparent and beautiful water but…we lost our phone and we cannot text Poppy and ask her about it…we just loved the picture and during this cold winter it made us think about summer…that’s it.
In una pausa dalla settimana impegnatissima di Karl, ecco Choupette che come tutti i gatti si diverte a giocare con un paio di Jeans e siamo sicuri che il suo padroncino non si arrabbierà neanche un po’ considerando il suo amore incondizionato per il suo cucciolo.
A moment of relax in the super busy Karl’s schedule, here’s Choupette that as every cat enjoys munching a pair of jeans and we’re sure Karl won’t be upset about it since he loves her deeply.
