Tavi Gevinson in pochissimi anni è passata da essere una fashion blogger prima di avere 16 anni (quando non esisteva il termine fashion blogger) a creare un magazine Rookie e debuttare a Broadway come attrice. Qui un’istantanea da un servizio per The Coveteur, una citazione/incitamento per lei e per chi affronta un periodo di poca autostima. (“Non c’è abbastanza tempo per odiarti, ci sono troppe cose da fare, vai!”).
Tavi Gevinson goes fast…she was a fashion blogger before she was 16 (when this word didn’t even existed), then she founded her magazine Rookie and now she’s made her actress debut at Broadway. Now she’s on The Coveteur (here’s a pic she shared from the article), it’s positive note to self and to those who are going trough a low self-esteem period.
Da un biglietto a un altro e da una citazione ad un ‘altra, in questo caso Karlie conosce bene la storia della moda e pubblica una frase di Oscar De La Renta “Ama. Sii curioso. Cerca sempre di fare il tuo meglio”.

Anche in questo caso si parla di un “biglietto”, ma in questo caso è solo immaginato…Taylor a una cena con amiche (si ok le amiche che può avere Taylor Swift…Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid) si presenta vestita di bianco mentre tutte le altre hanno scelto un total black. Il suo commento strappa un sorriso “”non ho ricevuto il biglietto con su scritto “vestiamoci tutte di nero””.
We’re still talking about a “note” but this time there’s no picture…Taylor is having a date with her besties (yes, yes the kind of bff only Taylor Swift can have…Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid) and she’s the only one in white while all the other girls are in total black, but hey it’s not her fault, she didn’t get the memo right?

Torniamo alle sane e zuccherose ricette di una volta adesso…alcune delle cose preferite di Miss Kloss: una perfetta manicure e dei macaron (possibilmente in delicati colori pastello).
Health food is good but sometimes all we need it’s just a dose of those ol’ style sweets…here’s two of Miss Kloss favorite things: a perfect manicure and some macarons (in a pastel color palette).
Alcuni conoscono solo la sua pagina sul New York Times sui look e i trend catturati per le strade di New York da oltre un cinquantennio, ma Bill Cunningham ha iniziato creando bellissimi cappelli in un piccolissimo laboratorio della grande mela. Eccolo elegantissimo con giacca e cravatta, a noi piace anche con la sua giacca-divisa blu da street-photographer.
Some of you only know him for his fashion/trend page on the New York Times, he’s been collecting and photographing looks and trends on the street of N.Y. City for five decades at least. What people don’t know is that he’s started as a hat-maker in a small place in N.Y.. How nice and elegant he’s with a suit and tie? Don’t worry Bill we love you also with your blu jacket uniform on.
La foto è in verita di loro figlio (per chi non lo sapesse i fotografi Inez e Vinoodh sono anche una coppia nella vita), ma questa istantanea del simpaticissimo cane Leo che dorme con un agnellino di pezza merita di essere condivisa.

Si, figo guardare gli account delle modelle e vedere che anche loro vanno in palestra e che anche loro fanno la dieta e che anche loro prendono l’aereo…però quando le vedi viaggiare in posti così comodi che ci staremmo in 4, con le nike by Riccardo Tisci e un bicchiere di champagne una piccola fitta di invidia ti viene no? Poi però vedi che anche lei come te legge Grazia e tutto torna a posto.
It’s cool and fun to look at models’ instagram to find out that they go to the gym as we do and they’re on diet as we do and that they take a flight like…but when you see them traveling on super luxury flight, with seats so big that could fit 4 people…they wear those super cool Nike by Tisci sneakers drinking champagne, well it’s not funny anymore right? Then you find that they’re reading Grazia like we do and things get a little bit better ;-).
