Collezione Naiadi – WILD COUTURE
Questa collezione è la storia di una ninfa, di una ninfa dell’acqua.
Queste divinità della natura, dall’aspetto di giovani fanciulle erano dispensatrici di fertilità e vita, si incaricavano di far prosperare le piante e gli animali; provvedevano a non far mancare l’acqua, facevano maturare i frutti.
Erano immaginate come genî femminili, vergini o giovani donne, alberganti nei ruscelli, nei fiumi, nei laghi, oppure negli alberi delle selve o nelle grotte dei monti e personificanti, in certo modo, la vita della natura nell’elemento vegetale e nelle acque scorrenti sulla superficie della terra.
Le sovrapposizioni di organze sono l’abito di queste dee dell’acqua. Le stampe plastiche richiamano il legame con lo specchio d’acqua La costruzione delle forme si sposa con la natura.

This collection revolves around the story of a nymph, of a water nymph.
These nature divinities looking like young girls, used to bestow life and fertility, were responsible for plants and animals proliferations, they looked after water supply and fruits ripening.
They were thought as feminine geniuses, virgins or young ladies, living by creeks, rivers, lakes or within forest trees or mountains caves and representing in a way or another nature life emerging from vegetal elements or from waters running on the surface of the earth.
Overlapping organza compose the dress of these water nymphs. Plastic prints recall the connection with the water mirror.
The shapes’ construction embraces nature.
