 Il 2 dicembre 2014 Karl Lagerfeld ha svelato al mondo il CHANEL Métiers d’art show in un glorioso edificio in stile rococo.

La collezione Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 ha preso vita presso lo Schloss Leopoldskron, un castello austriaco del 18° secolo, conosciuto in tutto il mondo per la sua architettura romantica e per la splendida vista sul lago Leopoldskroner Weiher.

La sera prima della sfilata gli ospiti hanno assistito alla proiezione di “Reincarnation”, l’ultimo cortometraggio di Karl lagerfeld con Pharrell Williams, Cara Delevingne e Geraldine Chaplin.

La ricca palette della collezione include i classici e iconici colori Chanel (bianco, rosso, navy, nero), mescolati con tonalità alpine come grigio colomba e verde foresta. Karl Lagerfeld da un personale tocco e reinterpretazione dello stile tirolese e al tradizionale gusto austriaco giocando con elementi tipici quali dirndls e i famosissimi lederhosen.

L’iconica giacca Chanel ha adesso 4 tasche. Vestiti da giorno, corti, cappe e cappotti a media lunghezza si arricchiscono di una piegha sulla schiena. Vestiti da sera molto strutturati hanno pieghe, fronzoli e maniche larghe. I materiali variano e aumentano i giochi di contrasti presenti lungo la collezione: loden, tweed, feltro, pelle e cashmere da un lato e satin, chiffon, taffeta e pizzo dall’altro. Estrema cura nei dettagli in pelle, piume e ricami che riattualizzano l’iconografia dei temi alpini.

Dopo il defilé gli ospiti fra cui Cara Delevingne (volto della collezione Paris- Salzburg 2014/15), Chanel Ambassadors Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Alice Dellal e Zhou Xun, l’attrice Rooney Mara, Geraldine Chaplin,  Lily Allen, le attrici francesi Clotilde Hesme e Amira Casar, Caroline de Maigret, la scrittrice Anne Berest e le attrici tedesche Iris Berben and Nina Hoss, si sono divertite nell’ammirare i saloni dello Schloss Leopoldskron e i mille differenti decori delle sua stanza in tradizionale stile rococo.

On December 2nd 2014, Karl Lagerfeld presented the CHANEL Métiers d’art show in a glorious rococo setting.

The Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 collection was shown at Schloss Leopoldskron, the 18th Century Austrian castle, acclaimed for its romantic architecture and view of lake Leopoldskroner Weiher.

The night before, guests were treated to a screening of ‘Reincarnation,’ Karl Lagerfeld’s latest short film starring Pharrell Williams, Cara Delevingne and Geraldine Chaplin.

The collection’s rich palette presents CHANEL iconic colors – white, red, navy, black – mixed with alpine hues like dove grey and forest green. Giving a contemporary twist to Tyrolean style and Austrian tradition, Karl Lagerfeld plays with the idea of dirndls, lederhosen and other elements.

The iconic CHANEL jacket boasts four pockets. Day dresses, short, flared jackets, capes and mid-length coats reveal a pleat at the back. Structured evening dresses have bibs, frills, pleats and wide sleeves. Implying the collection’s contrast, fabrics vary from loden, tweed, felt, leather and cashmere to satin, chiffon, taffeta and lace. Intricate embellishment ranges from leather trim, extensive feather work and embroidery with a modern alpine theme.

Afterwards, guests such as model Cara Delevingne, who will be the face of the Paris- Salzburg 2014/15 collection, CHANEL Ambassadors Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Alice Dellal and Zhou Xun, American actress Rooney Mara, English actress Geraldine Chaplin, English singer Lily Allen, French actresses Clotilde Hesme and Amira Casar, Caroline de Maigret, French writer Anne Berest and German actresses Iris Berben and Nina Hoss, enjoyed discovering the different salons of Schloss Leopoldskron, with its many different rooms of traditional rococo décor. #chanelsalzburg
