E ‘il momento di ripristinare il tessuto…riparare cuciture strappate…raccogliendo pezzi per un patchwork.

Pas de Calais, nord della Francia. In una giornata col cielo limpido gettando lo sguardo oltre il canale, le bianche scogliere di Dover appaiono maestose.

Il famoso “Dentelle de Calais” è conosciuto come uno dei più bei pizzi nel mondo. Ispirato dalla ricca eredità di questa regione, al suo pizzo è fine e delicato, la sua vita all’aria aperta, il magnifico paesaggio, questo modo di vivere è la fonte di ispirazione di Pas de Calais.

Un’essenza di purezza e nostalgia applicata a un design casual e moderno, lo spirito del brand è infuso di un universo romantico contemporaneo.

Una perfetta combinazione di varie tecniche di tintura tradizionali e moderne utilizzate sul cotone, lino e seta, Pas de Calais crea e realizza i propri tessuti originali. I materiali naturali sono armoniosamente utilizzati per realizzare una collezione facile e comoda da indossare.

I toni della palette, come i paesaggi intorno, sono basati su sfumature naturali di ecru, sabbia, verde khaki, bianco gesso, grigio tortora e nero carbone.

Pas de Calais propone una mescolanza ben bilanciata di silhouette casual in tessuti naturali, contrappuntate da tocchi decadenti che danno quel tocco di  libertà nello styling che attraversa tutte le frontiere.

La collection puise son inspiration dans le Arte Povera – “l’art pauvre”. Celui d’apprendre à apprécier la qualité au-delà du nombre. Et où le minimalisme rime avec luminosité et gaité.

La matière s’associe à une brindille ou autres matériaux trouvés tels que des coquilles et les transforme pour créer des pièces de qualité.

Il est temps de restaurer les tissus… en réparant les coutures déchirées….et en  rassemblant des morceaux pour de multiples patchworks. Ici, le tissu n’attend qu’à être tissé.

By using crumpled textures, using badly foxed metal and focusing on general belief, we deliver a message of simplistic beauty. We work and play together. We shall gather and share “talents”.

Inspiration is Arte Povera — “poor art” Bright, cheerful, yet calm minimalism. An attitude to enjoy less quantities. An image which creates beauty with “Art Brut” style, combining inorganic matter — a twig or found materials.

A shed built by wood boards can transform into a place where one spends peaceful and quiet time, cooking, working on hand crafts, and bringing a harmony back into your soul.

A life style concentrated on emotions, private time, and harmonizing with nature. Listen to your voice from your heart, focus, stand and feel the earth under the sky full of stars…

Like artists of Arte Povera, find trivial materials such as flotsam or shells and use them as as valued materials to create quality works. We add color range and variations by using recycled paper. Matt yet colorful “Marron Glacé”. Grey-ish Green and Indigo. Peer Yellow. Violet water. Graphical Unbleached color. We express imperfect aesthetics and beauty of shabbiness by creating palettes. – Tree Stump – Shed – Rope – Coal – Granite – Robinson Crusoe – Plastic
