Si è appena conclusa la terza edizione del Berlin fashion Film Festival che è stato un evento parallelo alla Fashion Week berlinese. Il giornalista Andrea Guenther ha presentato l’evento allo Stummfilmkino Delphi theatre a Weisßensee. La giuria che includeva Michael Conrad, 55DSL Creative Director Andrea Rosso, e il regista americano Casey Neistat ha premiato i migliori film fra le 700 pellicole arrivate da ben 54 nazioni diverse con medaglie di bronzo, argento e oro per 15 differenti categorie. La serata si è conclusa con la performance Bubble of Hope dell’artista e designer russo Andrey Bartenev.



Berlin, July 2014 – The third edition of the Berlin fashion Film Festival took place during Berlin Fashion Week. German lifestyle columnist Andrea Guenther hosted the event at the Stummfilmkino Delphi theatre in Weisßensee. The A-list jury, including Michael Conrad, 55DSL Creative Director Andrea Rosso, and US filmmaker Casey Neistat awarded the best films out of 700 submissions from 54 countries with bronze, silver and gold prizes for 15 categories. The BfFF Awards ended with the extravagant presentation Bubble of Hope by Russian artist and designer Andrey Bartenev.

The Purgatory of Monotony by Ace Norton

BEST FASHION: Rhiè for The Purgatory of Monotony by Ace Norton. Stefan Siegel, CEO & Co Founder NOT JUST A LABEL gave out the Award.

BEST PRODUCTION DESIGN: Max Orgell for The Purgatory of Monotony by Ace Norton. 55DSL Creative Director Andrea Rosso gave out the Award.

Snake by Gustavo Lopez Mañas

BEST MAKE-UP: Kley Kafe for Snake by Gustavo Lopez Mañas. Designer Jan Luckenbill gave out the Award.

BEST HAIR: Anna Soina & Marina Prokanina for Snake by Gustavo Lopez Mañas. Hairstylist Charlie Le Mindu gave out the Award.

BEST VFX:  Mine All Mine by Tell No One (Remi Weekes & Luke White). Charles Brisgand & Clément Gallet from Megaforce gave out the Award.

BEST EDITING: Mikkel E.G. Nielsen for Made from Cool by Martin Werner and Co und Sally Cooper for London Collections: Men 2013 by Matt Lambert. Filmmaker Casey Neistat gave out the Award.

BEST MALE CAST: Christopher Walken in Made from Cool feat. Christopher Walken. Harald Peters from Interview Magazine gave out the Award.

BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY: Lasse Frank for Made from Cool by Martin Werner & Co. and Pau Castjon for Jumper by Justin Anderson.  Léo Berne and Raphaël Rodriguez from Megaforce gave out the award.

BEST MAJOR BRAND FILM: Made from Cool by Martin Werner & Co. Advertising icon Michael Conrad from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership gave out the Award.

BEST MUSIC: Memlo Park Music for Jumper by Justin Anderson. Philipp Jung (M.A.N.D.Y.) gave out the Award.

Vogue Originals

BEST FEMALE CAST: Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet und Jessica Chastain for Vogue Originals feat. Cate Blanchett. Daniel Blechman designer from Sopopular gave out the award.

BEST FASHION FILM 2014: Vogue Originals by Matthew Frost. The award was given out by the founders of the Berlin fashion Film Festival Lisa Filippini, Frank Funke, Niccolo Montanari, and Ulf Switalski.

BEST IDEA: Wren for FIRST KISS by Tatia Pilieva.  Exec. Creative Director global of Serviceplan International, Maik Kähler gave out the Award.
