Sweet Memories è la nuova collezione di Sophie Kula è ispirata ai dolci ricordi dell’infanzia: i cartoni animanti, le caramelle, i giocattoli. Pattern ripetitivi su un background in total white, ruote e gessati colorati, con finiture di paillette, stud e stelle in plastica.

Il brand Sophie Kula è stato fondato nel 2012, gli abiti sono realizzati con tessuti  polacchi, francesi e italiani: seta, lana e cotone. Tutti i modelli sono custom made con finiture sartoriali e ricami che rendono il marchio un esempio di altissima qualità artigianale. La filosofia che informa il brand è creare una linea che sia allegra e piena di un’attitudine positiva per donne indipendenti.

Bio:

Sophie Kula nasce nella capitale della Silesia, Katowice. È per metà russa e per metà polacca, ma il suo cuore è a Parigi dove gran parte della sua famiglia è emigrata. Sin dall’infanzia le sue giornate passavano fra danza e musica.

La sua terza collezione “Sweet Memories” ha debuttato lo scorso Agosto alla competizione “Elite Model Look Final”, a Gennaio ha avuto la sua presentazione francese alla mostra “Young Fashion Designer Exhibition ArtGeorgia” durante la settimana parigina dedicata all’Haute Couture.

La collezione è stata scelta come finalista del “Be Next Contest” in Georgia, e ha vinto come premio un corso in “Cool Hunting for empowering Professional Design Thinking” presso la prestigiosa Domus Academy a Milano. Insieme alla passione per il fashion design ha da sempre coltivato anche quella del disegno, le sue principali fonti di ispirazione sono i suoi viaggi, incontrare nuove persone e mangiare del buon cibo, il cinema e la musica.

Sweet Memories – The Collection is inspired by warm childhood memories: innocence, cartoons, sweets and toys. Repeating patterns on a perfect white background, using wheels and colored pinstripes, ended by sparkling sequins, plastic studs and stars.

Fabrics: silk and cotton

Sophie Kula’s Brand was founded in 2012. Designs are made from polish, french and italian fabrics like silk, wool and cotton. All the clothes are custom made with such finishings as sequins and embroidery, which make this brand unique and on the high quality level. The main philosophy of the brand is to create a sublime line with positive attitude for individualist women.

Biography:

Sophie Kula was born in the capital of Silesia,Katowice. She is half-Russian and half-Polish. However, her heart is in Paris where most of her father’s family emigrated. Since her early childhood she was artistically trained, first in dance, then in music.

She premiered her third collection, “Sweet Memories”, in August 2013 at the “Elite Model Look Final” Competition. In January collection had french premiere at Young Fashion Designer Exhibition ArtGeorgia during Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris.

Collection has been chosen into Final of Be Next Contest in Georgia. In this contest Sophie won award , summer course 2014 “Cool Hunting for empowering Professional Design Thinking” in Domus Academy in Milano. Alongside her fashion designs she has a keen interest in fashion drawing. She quotes her inspirations as coming from her travels, meeting new people and eating great food. She also finds inspiration from movies and music.
