Daphne Descends Collezione Rafia-Crochet. Laura Lambroni, designer del brand Daphne Descends, presenta la sua nuova collezione di gioielli e accessori in rafia e crochet.
Come una moderna Penelope omerica la designer utilizza le antiche tecniche di crochet, macramè e ricamo sardo per la realizzazione di collane e accessori con un’anima interna di semi, rami, radici e piante essiccate.
Restando fedele al design materico che contraddistingue il suo brand la designer continua a utilizzare elementi naturali sia nelle strutture che nella colorazione dei tessuti, contaminandoli con l’uso della rafia e del crochet. Le collane sono ispirate ad antichi frustini di penitenti e flagellanti medievali, recano forme di croci e altri simboli.
La collezione comprende gioielli, borse e clutch, headpieces e cappelli a cloche.

As a modern homeric Penelope she uses the ancient tecniques of macrame, crochet and sardinian embroidery to create new necklaces and accessories with an internal structure made of seeds, briars and dried plants.
Staying true to the design material that distinguishes its brand, the designer keep on using natural elements (plants, dried seeds, roots) in both fabric’s structures and in tissue staining process, contaminating them with the use of raffia and crochet. The necklaces are inspired by the ancient crops of medieval flagellants and penitents, they bear shapes of crosses and other symbols.
The collection includes jewelry, handbags, headpieces and cloche hats.
