X-Cape is a brand of Abbigliamento Italiano Pronto Moda owned by Incor3 Srl, promoted by the Garghentini Family.

The proprietor of the brand is Eugenio Garghentini who successfully manages the third generation of this family business, which was founded in the 60’s.

The brand itself was created in 1995, following a trip to Amsterdam carried out by Eugenio and his wife, Luisa. There, they discover and fall in love with this city’s extremely strong cultural vitality and energy. They are charmed by the joy and freedom of these young people. They are enthusiastic about the beauty and orderliness of the place. They sense that the time has come to present a new brand on their own market. In reminiscence of this trip, they decide to register the X-cape brand as a statement of freedom.

X-Cape: escape. Running away to fascinating and far-off destinations. An abbreviation that reiterates the sound of the word it translates. By inserting the letter “X” in a red ellipse, a graphic symbol is given to the brand destined to become a cult, as confirmed by the market success it has enjoyed ever since. The strength of this brand is centred on denim. Thanks to carefully executed dying and washing tests, X-Cape denim creates a whole new Generation.

After having sponsored the great GP motorbike champions, Alexander Barros and Luca Cadarola, the brand started to communicate on the Italian press in 1999. The X-Cape advertising campaigns are memorable because their images take us elsewhere. In fact numerous advertising campaigns have been executed abroad, each one creating a new journey. South Africa, Island, Scotland, Kenya, Miami, Berlin, Paris, Cape Verde, Austria and Greece, just to name a few. These images always show two young adolescents, who are romantically in love, to recall the Garghentinis in the Amsterdam that started it all off. X-Cape embodies a world that relives the emotions and tensions of that particular and important age known as adolescence. But the magic of these garments may only be fully appreciated when they are being worn. Always trendy, they are characterised by innovative fabrics and precious details.
