CELINE PLEIN SOLEIL all the details of the new ss24 capsule

The Plein Soleil capsule by Hedi Slimane, inspired by the French Riviera and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, blends seaside and city elegance. It features luxurious pieces like a suede patina jacket, handmade crochet ensembles, and earth-toned laced cotton.

The Plein Soleil capsule is inspired by the eternal allure of the french riviera and the sophisticated nonchalance of Saint-German-Des-Prés, places dear to Hedi Slimane. The convergence of seaside and city is explored as a wardrobe with luxurious details. Iconic lines sucriomphe are revisited in fresh animations of wicker, textile or natural leather with braiding details.

For Saint Tropez in the off-season, there is a suede patina jacket worn with a cardigan in braided syracuse cotton as well an off-white ensemble in a handmade crochet, woven by hand. Laced cotton in soft earth tones and floral motifs complement a spectrum of blue hues in denim and stripes.

Pieces can be styled as ensembles for leisurely days and dressier nights: a folk blouse in tulle with all-over sequin flower embroidery paired with a leopard print bikini top and worn with flared jeans.

For the beach, a striped crochet black and white mini-dress worn over a bikini with gladiater sandals. The Triomphe emblem and Celine signature play out across a baja cape, a fouta and a tote.

Introduced for Plein Soleil are new variations of the Celine panier, offering another dimension of elevated craft, while sandals, espadrilles, and sunglasses complement the silhouette. Embodying the house’s know-how, the traditional straw hats are handmade, each craftsperson with their own weaving technique, making each piece unique.

The capsule is enhanced by Celine maison art de vivre pieces, with a signature deckchair, a petanque set among others that convey the scope of the Celine lifestyle.

The Plein Soleil 2024 campaign was photographed by hedi slimane along the Amalfi Coast in Sorrento, Italy.
