La collezione di Zusana per la Primavera Estate 2014 consiste in due linee di lingerie diverse per ispirazione e materiali usati.
La prima linea è incentrata sulla decorazione e tutti i capi di lingerie sembrano quasi dei pezzi di alta gioielleria piuttosto che capi di semplice intimo. Tutto è ricamato a mano utilizzando pregiatissimo vetro, cristalli e sfere di plastica di diverse misure e colori. Le giacche e i vestiti sono ispirate a conchiglie marine che improvvisamente mostrano una preziosa perla a loro interno.
La seconda linea è caratterizzata da materiali di grande pregio, forme semplici e dettagli realizzati interamente a mano.
Per entrambe le linee, oltre che al design un’attenzione speciale è stata dedicata ai materiali utilizzati che vanno dalle sfere di vetro, Lycra e satin di seta elasticizzato per la lingerie; mentre per gli abiti si sono utilizzati tessuti con finitura metallescente e una palette di colori che va dall’argento metallico all’oro, nero, bianco e perla.
Bio
Nata nella Repubblica Ceca nel 1984, Zuzana Kubíčková ha la sua base operativa a Praga, appartiene alla nuova generazione di designer Cechi. Ha studiato Fashion Design all’accademia di Art, Architettura e Design di Praga e poi alla ÉSAA Duperré di Parigi e anche alla Iceland Academy of Arts di Reykjavík.
Dal 2012 ha aperto il suo atelier nel centro di Praga dove realizza collezioni di ready to wear e lavora anche per clienti privati.

The SS14 Collection consists of two lingerie themes.
The first theme is very decorative and all lingerie pieces look rather like jewels that decorate the women’s body. The lingerie sets are hand-embroidered with luxury glass and plastic beads of different shapes, sizes and colors. Jackets and dresses evoke seashells that at certain moment show the shiny a precious surprise hidden inside.
Materials
Lingerie: Glass beads, Plastic beads, Polyamide jersey, Lycra
Dresses and Jackets: Fabrics with metallic varnish surface, layered and combined together Colors: Metallic Silver and Gold, Black, White and Pearl shells
In the second lingerie theme all the looks are based on exquisite materials and simple forms with handmade details.
Materials: Silk elastic satin, silk tulle, fine cotton jersey. Colors: Black, White, Nude
Bio
Zuzana Kubíčková was born in 1984 in Czech republic, and is based in Prague.
Zuzana belongs to the leading generation of prominent Czech fashion designers. She studied Fashion Design on the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague, Paris ÉSAA Duperré and in Iceland Academy of Arts in Reykjavík. She finished her studies in 2009.
Since 2012 she opened her studio in the center of Prague where she makes Ready-to-wear collections and works also for private customers.
Her garments are created through inspiration from traditional textile styling which she transforms into the fashion. Emphasis is laid on high quality materials and craftsmanship, delicate feminine silhouette and sensitive color combinations that highlight beauty of every woman.
